I've got a MXQ PRO 4k box, probably couple of years old. Not the most powerful box out there, but it works.
The box works great when I subscribe to any existing IPTV provider, rarely any lag or freezing. However I recently discovered M3U lists and downloaded an app called IPTV 4.2.2 (https://iptv.en.aptoide.com/) from Aptoide which seems to work OK however I notice that any channel I bring up to watch freezes for a few seconds, then will go back (almost like rewind) for a few seconds then start up again.
I've gone through the configuration/set-up options and turned on buffering so that at least a few minutes is buffered but I still run into the same problem.
Can anyone suggest other apps that might do a better job? Or is it the box I'm using? As I mentioned, works fine for many of the IPTV providers out there -- just freezes when I import M3U lists.

Hi there, I've run into 2 major issues with the new Fire Stick 4k and Smoothstreams.
Some channels have major video stuttering, but no audio issues like this. Apparently this is a Firestick 4k issue; something about hardware acceleration having issues. The way to resolve this problem is to turn off hardware acceleration in the Kodi settings.
Some channels have no audio, however when I play the same streams on my phone's mobile browser, they do have audio. Current examples are NBC and ABC (channels 34 and 36, respectively.) I have not been able to resolve this issue. Anyone know how to fix this?
