Are we expecting any Black Friday deals for IPTV services? If so, which? Bring on the shameless plugs

I just subscribed to a service that gave me a link to an app to install on FireTV as well as the means to run it on the new Mag322 I picked up.

Unfortunately on the Mag box it’s asking me for a Parental Control password, even though one isn’t set up. When I go to the settings to see if I can disable it, there doesn’t seem to be the option like there is on the FireTV app. I can go in and try to set a password, but when I do that it comes up “error filling in forms”.

Ive googled but I can't seem to find a straight answer. 256 has more ram but 322 is newer. I'm not very tech savvy which is why I want to get a mag. Which one should I get.

Ok, so most of these providers and restreamers have the USA sports packages: NFL Sunday Ticket, NFL Gamepass, NBA League Pass, MLB Extra Innings, NHL Center Ice, etc. But how do I know what games will show up on which? For example, todays NFL games:

Do these source providers use a specific schedule that they put them on? Or is it a free for all?

I have a ton of sport feeds and it is a royal pain to try to find specific events. Example yesterday I really wanted to find the feed for the Ohio Maryland football game but it was impossible as so many in the epg simply said college football with no specifics. Are there any ways to match a specific game to the hundreds of fairly anonymous sport channels in a news feed? I have beast tv and Vader's and excursion tv and the problem is endemic...

So I've converted my Dad and girlfriends mother to IPTV. Both of them are about 45 min drive in opposite directions from me. I have teamviewer on my pc and my android boxes, but all i get is screen capture. I cant actually do anything remotely, they have to do it. Is that a feature that is only in the paid version? Is there an app or something better to be able to do this with?

I have owned and used a Formuler Z7+ for the past month. Formuler Z7+ comes with a custom built Android OS. It also comes with the MyTVOnline app pre-installed. The MyTVOnline (MTVO) application is the selling point for the Z7+. As they say, it is the meat of the product. MTVO is the gateway to enabling IPTV on the android box. So, why all this information?

Well, I am a software engineer by trade and I tend to get curious about how the software that I use works behind the scenes. So naturally, I started to think about how MTVO currently works on the server side. The client side is simply an android application. Is someone here familiar with how the backend of MTVO works? Is there another separate software that the MTVO developers provide to IPTV providers that allows them to stream their content? or is there a plug and play protocol that allows any IPTV provider to broadcast their content?

Anyone familiar with the topic please feel free to chime in. Also, let me know if there is a more appropriate sub for this question.

I like using the guide but my IPTV service has a huge number of channels & VOD. Thankfully they are grouped in folders. But the standard cable channels are not separated by county. They have [US:] for US channels & [CA:] for Canadian and so forth.

So for KODI masters I would like to have each folder in a channel guide group and be able to filter just the US stations.

Any help would be appreciated. I can use the IPTV service but the sheer volume of channels makes finding the station you want a slight hassle.

I recently installed stb emu app on my nvidia shield. I can view videos and everything fine but the remote functionality through shield is crap. Before I moved onto shield I was using mag and I opened the favorite channel menu which is causing major headache on nvidia shield as I cannot get out of the favorite menu and not see other channels. I tried installing the mag 250 remote and manually connect to shield through ip address but doesnt work.if anyone can help would really appreciate it

Is there such an app that exist? I have Dreamlink T1, T2, X96 mini pro, Amazon fire stick, Apple Tv4.

Is there a DOL style app on the Apple device, I used PlayTv and GSE, but it does not have the "cable style" flow. Requires multiple clicks to change channels or surf.

I do like the apple tv4 for all other streaming as it is a "certified" "non rooted" device for Netlfix, Prime Video, Plex, etc..etc...and does not require side loading of hacked apps. My kids find it easier to use, except for their Disney Jr and Treehouse tv...

Might be moving house soon and want to know what's the min. speed required for streaming IPTV with a VPN ?I currently have 75megabit with no problems, however some i've looked at only have about 40megabit

If person 1. has a 100mb sync without the VPN and 50mb with the VPN

and person 2. has 70mb sync without the VPN, will they still receive 50mb with the same VPN server or not ?

So I've been using beast tv on my xbox one x through kodi and I'm just wondering what are the advantages of using a amazon fire stick or a android box? Thinking about buying a firestick if its a big difference than my xbox. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone use HDMI-CEC with a Mag 322? My TV supports it and used to control a Fire TV no problem but nothing doing with the Mag.

I was using Smart IPTV directly from my Samsung Smart TV for 2 years now. I was just wondering if it's normal if I notice a big difference in terms of image quality.

Let me explain myself, I do have 1080p streams that have excellent image quality but when I use my Nvidia Shield TV with Perfect Player, IPTV Extreme, or others I notice the same stream but with a lesser quality, as if the image is softer or blurry compared where as it was sharper, brighter (like FULL HD)

I imagine it's because of the video decoder (HW+) or others, I even tried switching to Auto, Default, HW+

Am I missing something? What should I do? Thanks!

I'm trying to help a friend look into it more. He has a Roku and streams IPTV and he's heard that getting a Matricom device is somehow better. His only intended purpose is to stream TV from other countries.
