vaders and stbemu

does changing servers affect stbemu, or just m3u?

Would you recommend Vaders?

I'm currently on the fence with them and Gears Tv. Had set , but we know how that went. Used kodi solutions but the buffering annoyed me most times.

(Haven't done any trials, and would rather not deal with 3rd parties.)

VOD and almost non existant buffering is important to me. Though I understand why VOD is harder to find.

Many thanks.

STB EMU vs M3U8 playlists

Researching into getting an IPTV service

From what I can tell, some provide a service through a combination of M3U8 playlist and an XML EPG guide to go along with it.

Others provide services through a "MAG" box. No need for playlists and XMLs, just login details to a "portal". For this option, if I don't have a "MAG" box, I can still run it on Android/AndroidTV using an STB Emulator.

Are there any pros/cons between these 2 methods? Seems to me from the setup perspective it's easier to enter some credentials for STB Emu rather than enter playlist and xml URLs, no?

Most user-friendly/simple android iptv box for the parents.

Will be buying a second box soon. Looking for what's easiest to use for parents. Something very similar to a traditional cable tv box in format and interface would be best.

Currently using buzztv xpl3000. It's alright but very buggy (latest update yesterday seems to have broken the epg), willing to try something different.

IPTV General Questions

I stumbled into the world of IPTV yesterday and I'm amazed that I didn't know about this earlier. I was paying Fubo about $40 per month. Initially, the service was great, but I'm only interested in live sports. Slowly but surely they've started adding a ton of crap that I don't ever watch and, with it, came the price hikes.

Since I'm fairly new at this, I had a couple of questions:

  1. What is the best TV box that includes an option for configuring a VPN in it? I don't want to and can't configure a VPN at the router, but I want this box to use a VPN all the time. I currently use Private Internet Access; if it works with that, even better.

  2. I'm currently testing Twisted and TNT. TNT offers phenomenal value at $5/mo and I have liked the support I've gotten from Twisted thus far, but it comes in at twice the price. Are there any other $5 options that have ample live sports programming? This is practically the only thing I care about and I don't need on demand content, porn, or anything else for that matter. I'd like to look at providers with live sports, similarly priced, bitcoin payment, no customer data other than an email address.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I just want a solid provider, no matter the cost.

After going through Ace's good days and then being forced to move over to Flawless which ran OK but not amazing. I'm just over it, I accept it's all part the parcel but looking to find the reliability and asian server support I get with smoothstreams but for all channels, no matter the cost. Can anyone send me a PM of private server group or asian location support (not asian channels).

How to best show different channels on 3-4 different TVs?

I'm setting up a "sports-cave" in my house, and I want to have a fes screens displaying different matches when they're on.

I'm considering putting a fire-stick in each TV, but the WiFi dropping signal might be an issue.

Is there a way to set up a system where I can control the 4 screens from one device? Would I need a PC with a few HDMI outputs? I'm not sure how the sound would work in that case.

There's a pub near where I live which seems to use a tablet running Kodi or something similar which can then control various TVs, but I'm not sure if that's PC based or how it works.

Any ideas?
