I just got iptv express and it's great quality and epg wise. I'm using stb emu pro. Can I set the mac, serial and device ID the same on 2 devices and use it? Not at the same time.

Mag254 box with subscription to papiaotv. Terrible service not going back to them. So what can I do with this box now? Options?

Can somebody weigh in on why some would rather use the STB emulator rather then use regular Kodi? Are there cons when it comes to using Kodi for iptv or what? And also why do people transition from using Kodi to Mags?

I'm currently using a MAG box and am subscribed to IPTVsubs, and recently Vader Streams trial (both on same box) with no issues. I wanted to try a trial to either "Crown" , or "Voodoo" (I'm located in Canada). However when I inquired, the reply I received seemed to indicate that the MAC is already in use by IPTVsubs and won't work?.

Why does my service work with BOTH Vader's and IPTVsubs if that's true? (on same box/can switch between both services) I posted the email reply below this message if anyone is wondering. I'm not sure if he meant, "you can't use the MAC if you subscribed to the SAME service previously" ex/ direct from Crown and then trying to sign up with re-seller of SAME service - or whether he means, you can't use ANY other provider while using his (Crown) ?

I would've imagined that Vader's wouldn't have worked on my box if the MAC was "tied only" to IPTVsubs. Thanks so much for any help guys, I'm not really too sure what to believe.

Email reply: "If a client is already subscribed to a particular server with any other service provider, we can not add the MAC Add of that server in our system. We confirm with the clients, if the MAC Add they are going to provide us is already in use with the same server they are ordering us, with any other provider"

Asked for further clarification, this was the response: "2 different servers can be used on same box, but the service you are already using with other provider on that box cannot be subscribed with us. For eg- if you are using CROWN and Voodoo on your box than we will not be able to provide you these servers till you do not get the MAC Add given for these servers deactivated/released from your current providers.

However, any other server other than the 2 in use can be taken from us."

Hi guys, I haven't bought an IPTV dedicated box yet but are there any sort of IPTV-focused OSs out there that I could install on an old desktop? I have in the past installed Kodi on old desktops so if I could somehow install a reputable stb emulator on my pc, hopefully I can save on not having to spend money on a new MAG box. Booting directly to an stb emulator (skipping boot to Windows/Linux) would be preferable

I'm currently with SportsAccess (~2 weeks) and it's pretty much perfect so far. However they are obviously sports-related mostly (they do have some movie channels but it's not a lot).

Is there a similar service with soccer matches and hbo, cinemax, starz, etc.?

I get how the streams work, but how does VOD get updated? Does the stream push new movies or do I have to keep re-uploading it to get new VOD content?

Anyone had any luck or got any ideas on how to add my IPTV service to the live channels app? UX is great on this app and I'd like to use it with my current (or any) provider.

I posted this already in their support qeue and on their forums, got nothing as a response so far. maybe someone here has some insight. any help would be awesome but I fear its a rapidtv server issue where they just cant keep up with demand.

followed the guides to get my m3u file into simple iptv client with epg and channel logos... no problem
followed the stickied tweak guide for adjusting cache within kodi (tweaked what was needed for kodi 17)

(cache settings in kodi 17 are a little different official kodi wiki)
I even managed to get my time shift set correctly.
but no matter what I try, and no matter what channel I choose I get pausing and stuttering after about 30-60 seconds of smooth playback.
I also tried installing the rapidiptv addon from the rapidtv repository and even watching through there I get the same issue. (note: in the rapidiptv addon if I change streamtype from the default ts to m3u8 I can get a few minutes before pausing and stuttering.)
what I need to determine is if there is a way to test the peering speed I am getting with my comcast connection to rapidiptv servers. I have experienced comcast fuckery before with throttling netflix and whatnot and I would like to see if there is a way to test if that is the case here.
unless there is something else you guys can suggest? help.... please

So my friend got Avov OnlineTV and he paid $150 for the box and $100 a year for television channels.

When he told me what it was I figure it was just Android running something like Kodi or XBMC. Looking into it, that's pretty much what it is but I'm not sure what the subscription is for.

I haven't used XBMC in a while, are TV Channels usually included or is it an Addon and the fee is justified?
