Maybe this is the wrong sub but is there a way I can extract relevant data from an IPTV box such as the M3U and EPD URL or something equally useful? I want to use Xteve to stream it from Plex.

Right now I have this Max TV Gold 5G box and it was pre-configured by some local reseller.

Edit: I am not as deeply steeped in the IPTV world as I'd like to be so forgive my misunderstanding -or complete lack of understanding- of various jargon, references, and concepts.

My wifes parents are both technofphobic, but they sure know how to enjoy their sports and nature shows.

We want to give them one year IPTV, but im wondering which of the sollution might be better and easier for them. Xiaomi or Fire Stick? Any suggestions from fellow redditors would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone else have an issue with GSE IPTV for Android where it won't download a playlist from a URL? It worked fine for me until a few days ago. I can download the playlist in a browser, then load it as a local playlist without a problem.

When using, it plays well for about 30 sec, no lag then it goes back to the first channel of the list and continuously does that every 30 seconds. I dont think it is connection issues since it is cabled. What im suspecting is that i logged in mobile and tv though never played them both simultaneously. I did not have this issue on mobile which was wifi.

I have been trying to figure out the pvr recording feature on my t1 and have been successful with a 16gb 2.0 USB but I recently purchased a 64gb 3.1 USB and it doesn't work, is there any special format that I need to use or any other suggestions? Thanks.

So I've got an old Dell laptop which I want to use for iptv/netflix/youtube and preferably casting from Android as well.

Should I go for a Linux based on OS, or pick an android based OS?

Also, I've got some experience with Linux but not too much with Android.

My mag254 when I use video on demand content (ie. Movies tv shows) now and again has no audio on the content. But when I ask my provider (who mainly directs his users to IPTV smarters app) he says he has no issues with audio his end. This is only on a few shows. Any ideas what the issue may be?

Does anyone have the fire tv app for optus or were I can download? My fire stick is not in aus. Thanks

Hi. I posted badly last night and broke the rules on recommendations - apologies for that.

I'm in the UK and have been using Fired Up Media. This seems to have abruptly dived underground and no trace can be found, even though the service is still running.

Problem is I wiped my Firestick and now I have no way of geting the app that was running the service and no way of finding out what it was (there were a few). Is anyone in a similar position or knows what app might have been used and where to get it?

Looking for a little advice here.

I've used IPTV services in the past where the provider advised subscribers that if UK based they must use a VPN service to prevent streams from becoming blocked when live football is on. I've also had another service where this was not required as the provider had streams running through a VPN.

I have setup my first panel and everything is working well, but I'd now like to integrate a VPN service so that end users do not require a personal VPN subscription.

I'm thinking there may be a couple of ways to do this, but not entirely sure?

Option 1 (Easy Method)

• Setup a VPN Server with openVPN on a different server to servers that host my content
• Install openVPN client onto Load Balance servers which host my content
• Login to openVPN client on LB Servers so IP address changes from LB IPv4 address which has streams or VOD content to openVPN server IP address
• Users log in to android app which is hardcoded with the DNS for my MAIN server with broadcast port and select content to stream as usual which will get from LB servers and stream back (but LB servers are routed through openVPN server)

I'm hoping this method works, but not entirely sure as the end user isn't connecting to a VPN, just watching streams that are running through a VPN server?

Option 2 (More complex method)

• Setup a VPN Server with openVPN on a different server to servers that host my content
• Configure custom android app to log into openVPN server when users log into app with a global username and password. App is still hardcoded with the DNS for my MAIN server and broadcast port, but rather this way the IP address of all live connections will be the IP address of my VPN Server and they will be streaming content from my LB Servers.

Can anyone advise if either method will work or the best way to go about implementing this? I've got a seperate vpn server running from my MAIN, LB1 and LB2 servers, but just need to determine the best way to join them together now so that the service and end users are best protected?

Hi looking for a solution

i'm a reseller and although my package offers loads of different country's i tend to sell just one .i have edited the m3u to include just this country adding logos categories etc etc and it works great but my supplier cant use my file as the categories would mess his whole list up ie he would have lots of countries then news, sport movies etc as i don't think you can have sub cat-orgies in a m3u ie click UK then have separate categories for news sport etc

anyway now when i create a account i have to manually edit my m3u with the new username and password and save it if i just want to give them the one country which is a pain in the bum.

I have NasaTv iptv the service works decent enough but their EPG service is garbage, anyone else have this problem???

I was wondering if there was any tools that spun thru a .m3u file and tried to connect to all the channels in the list, and give stats back on ones that do not work as well as the time it takes to get the streaming started?

I have several different sources, and even on the ones I have, they may have different version of the same channel, wondering if everything still works as well as which feed starts quickest.

I don't know if there is any other stats that could be given. Just wondered if there was a tool out there that did such.
