Be careful who you respond to in DMs

Many have reported that teamkrazy is messaging our members cause they’re desperate to get new resellers.

We are asking you to not respond to possible scammers, and warning you that many investigators for assorted agencies follow any piracy subreddits. Keep yourself safe. If they have to reach people on Reddit this way, there’s a problem, and they will likely shut down, huge risk. Solid services never need to resort to sending unsolicited DMs. They’re desparate.

Formuler Z8 - is it worth it?

Hi all, I have the option of buying a Formuler Z8 for €70. I have a Shield TV 2017 as my main box, using Tivimate. I've also a Shield tube in the 2nd room. Chromecast and Fire TV also in circulation for travels..So I like trying new devices basically 😅

The 2017 Shield remote is dust and I bought a Formuler BT1 remote for it a while ago, it's great but problems with ok button when typing and have to resort to the TV remote to type, which is a pain. A new Shield toblerone remote works out around €50 delivered.

So the thought crossed my mind to get this Z8 and use the BT1 remote I have with it. For €20 extra, would it be worth it to have the Z8 as my main IPTV box? I've read a lot about the slick interface and integration of the remote with MyTVonline2, also the channel zapping is meant to be snappy and the option to record to HDD seems more reliable to Tivimate. In my head it's looks like a good idea for the main room and use the shield for gaming and as a backup, etc. but I could be wrong!

Just wondering people's thoughts on would the Z8 be much slicker than my 2017 Shield with Tivimate or is it outdated now (bearing in mind I'll only be using it for IPTV) Thanks

Prime day deals

I need to upgrade my current fire stick and Amazon have a couple of amazing deals on right now due to it being prime day. Fire tv stick 4k (was £49.99 now £22.99), fire tv stick 4k max (was £54.99 now £32.99) and fire tv cube (was £109.99 now £54.99). The price for the cube seems amazing however, I only use it for IPTV so I’m not sure if I even need the cube. Is it worth the extra money?

recording to pc/nas

i have spent hours trying to get plex/xteve working and though i feel pretty familiar with those apps, IPTV just doesn't work on my pc, therefore i can't get it working through plex (easiest solution, but unable to work)

the only way i've been able to get iptv working on my pc is through an android app. i'm wondering if i can record from there onto my D: drive which is my home server my plex links to. then i could still watch recorded shows through plex.

if this is possible, which apps would be recommended for this? i've seen some suggestions in other threads but i feel my issue is slightly different since the iptv doesn't work natively on my pc

NVIDIA Shield bluetooth receiver has stopped working

Hello all,

Recently my remote stopped working for the Shield TV pro. I did quite a few things to try fixing it (resetting it, keeping it off etc) but nothing was working. I took it to an IT shop and he said the bluetooth receiver’s gone and that he can’t fix it.

I have no warranty left on the box so not sure where this leaves me. Any suggestions or anybody experience this fault before?

Cheers

PSA: We have it on fairly good authority that Pelican aka Allied Streams has been served by Nagrastar/Dish.

Still unverified but very solid source for the info. you need to use extreme caution. Delete your info especially if you resell/provide for them.

STB EMU went poof!

So I turn on my Shield tonight when I get home and the STB EMU app no longer exists on my box. I had it set up and working for like 2 days with a new provider and it’s just flat out disappeared. It’s not in my apps folder or in my favorites, it’s just gone.

Any idea what might have happened with that?

Any way to view *just* an epg online?

Curious -- but, since I can scroll though a website *much* faster than I can scroll through a player app --

Is there any way to take an existing epg and view that data on a website (like a site like tvguide or zap2it or titantv would do?) -- not interested in *watching* through that site; just viewing the epg.

Hardware suggestions

Hi!

Im using a TVIP box v.605 today to stream IPTV content and I feel like it is a subpar experience, due to that I’m looking for a new hardware solution and stream the content either trough MyTVOnline2 or Tivimate.

My options is:

  • Chromecast 4K
  • Firestick 4K
  • Xiaomi Box Mi S
  • Nvidea shield pro
  • Formuler Z10 Pro

There is obviously a price difference but one of my questions is regarding the benefits of going for a more expensive box-solution. Second, do you have a preference between the IPTV apps that sway you in either direction? I would really like your input on this!

Thanks in advance

Anyone knows about any true EPG Viewer + Editing software for Windows?

I have one program called EPG Viewer, it's simple to use, you load EPG.xml and and you can check the EPG schedule.

Does anyone know is there any EPG editing software? Do I really need to use Text editor like Notepad++ to edit EPG? Is there any GUI solution? Like, click on TV channel, click on program to edit it or manually add new EPG and then export it.

PSA for USA customers of Starlink internet Dish wants to disable your access

Today we ask for your support in ending a lobbying campaign that threatens to make Starlink unusable for you and the vast majority of our American customers.

As recently reported, DISH Network has been hoarding spectrum for years as a strategy for preventing open and fair competition.

Most recently, DISH has been attempting to claim new rights to the 12 GHz band, which is the spectrum you currently use to download content with Starlink. Despite technical studies dating back as far as 2016 that refute the basis of their claims, DISH has employed paid lobbyists who are attempting to mislead the FCC with faulty analysis in hopes of obscuring the truth.

In reality, if DISH gets their way, Starlink customers will experience harmful interference more than 77% of the time and total outage of service 74% of the time, rendering Starlink unusable for most Americans. You can read the details here.

The FCC and your members of Congress have the power to stop this effort, but they need to hear from you.  click here to tell the FCC how you feel :

there will be no commenting allowed on this post, it’s only a PSA to those affected. Thx- the mods
