I am looking for a IPTV client with a nice EPG. I am currently using Smart IPTV, and while it is functional, I do not like the EPG setup on it. Is there anything with a nicer EPG? We also use DirecTV Now, and my wife would like to have a EPG similar to that for our IPTV....

Only interested in Bein channels, preferably FHD and high bitrate.

hi, i´m looking for a provider that will show the world cup in HD, can anybody reccomend a provider they´re satisfied with?

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask, but hopefully it is. My IPTV over FTTH provider upgraded all our STBs to Huawei EC6108V9 about a year ago and they claim it offers true 4K and first in region yada yada yada. The thing is when connected to my TV my TV says the output is 1080p only. My TV is a Sony Android TV with 4K HDR support. I have no issue getting 4K signal out of my Xbox One X, or PS4 Pro console even on the same HDMI port.

They are offering a few 4K channels and soon they will be offering World Cup in 4K too but is it really 4K if my TV states the output is 4K only? The Huawei site claims the STB offers 4K too but idk if that is true.

Hi.. i am using buzz tv xpl 3000 for 6 months now, with out any issues... This morning when i was trying to click on live tv, it was blanking out for a while and was returning to home screen after a minute. Same happend with VOD, i tried to check the server info, i was not able to get into the server page as well.

I tried to restart couple of times and decided to factory reset ( with erase). Later i did initial set up and it did allow me to set up the new server but when i click connect, it says "Please contact your provider to register this device" .. i have noticed there is no change in MAC address.

I am doing something wrong here... thanks.

I'm an American and none of the channels here broadcast in 4k so I'm trying to figure out how to get reliable 4k streams of the games, is IPTV the way to go? I also like watching NFL and NBA games. What does /r/IPTV recommend for me?

To be clear, I don't mind paying, but I know I'm not paying for rights in the way that big cable pays, nor am I paying for bandwidth, so I'm curious what I am paying for?

Is it largely the convenience of access with someone having organized existing feeds into a packaged service?

Also what is the security risk of these kind of services? I know people have been busted for selling Kodi boxes, but doesn't appear that authorities have gone after iptv users in the same way people have been targeted for copyright infringement via P2P sharing.

So Im only looking for US channels. I dont need anything fancy. Are there any free trials going on right now? What would you guys recommend?

my iptv provider has a youtube tutorial for accessing catch-up on an STB or PerfectPlayer. however, i'm using the PC version of Kodi and can't figure out how to access it.

there's a PC version of PerfectPlayer but it hasn't been updated since 2015 and i don't know if that version supports catch-up.

any help?

Hey All, I'm new the to IPTV game and I think I have most of the basics down.

I'm most likely going with the MAG256 since I know someone who's been very happy with it but I'm open to opinions on the Dreamlink and Formuler Z7+. One important thing I'm looking for is the ability to record shows/dvr options and I haven't really figured out how to get that feature.

Lastly, where can I get these boxes in the US and make sure they are genuine?? Thank you!

I need the ability to schedule future recordings of both stalker based (express/gold) and m3u based (eternal/area51). Want to record some channels where catchup is not provided. It should also be able to support USB flash drive or SD card for additional storage

I manage several Air B&B rentals. Each unit already has wired and/or wifi internet access. As a perk, I was contemplating adding IPTV service to each unit. However, I would like to have a cable like experience for my guests. That would mean they would turn on the TV and immediately be presented with a guide or live TV. It would also mean having a simple, regular remote (and hopefully cheap, since they seem to constantly disappear) that controls everything. Also, I'd prefer that the hardware/software be locked to the IPTV function. I don't want guest loading other apps or altering the setup so that I have to redo everything after each stay. What hardware/software would you suggest for this experience? The price doesn't matter as much as the experience. Personally, I use the Nvidia Shield in my unit. But I'm open to any hardware, setup or service. I've searched but there doesn't seem to be a consensus for what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

A question for you providers out there: why is there no support for SSL/TLS encrypted connections?

When using M3U URLs connections are invariably over plain HTTP. That exposes our login credentials and all network activity.

Is the overhead of encrypting all users/streams make it too costly? Or is there another reason for it?

Looking for a service with reliable Catch up, don't need live services. But I know most plans you have to take both. Specifically after Sky Golf catch up if avaliable. Looking for Android or Plex or Web playback.

I’ve had a few providers but I find myself unable to skip commercials on catchup. If I try to fast forward on DOL it either skips hours or doesn’t do anything at all. Does anybody else experience this?

it seems that the only difference between the two boxes is only the 2 GB ram vs 1 GB ram. how much of a difference does this make for using the box purely for iptv and not gonna use any apps like kodi etc... at all.

will the formuler box run better for iptv, will the extra ram come into use for iptv?

i saw some videos on youtube for t2 and it seems like the t2 uses about half the memory just for running the box itself. i cant tell how much of the rest of 1 GB is used while playing iptv.
