I am looking for an IPTV service to stream American sports and some PPV fights primarily. I will use this service on kodi for my fire stick, but having a hell of a time figuring this stuff out.
I was going to try and sign up for Smoothstreams, however they only accept bitcoin and to get a wallet and account set up to even purchase bitcoin takes forever as they have to approve my ID.
Basically I'm looking for a service that I can quickly pay for and get set up on kodi. I've looked through this google sheet to try to check out some free trials but it seems I don't know enough about what I'm doing. I signed up for Instant-IPTV and NecroIPTV, however there's no clear cut instructions on how to get it up and running.
Is there a walk through somewhere that I can familiarize myself with how this all works? Or can someone just point me in the right direction for what I'm looking for?
I used to use an Openbox v8s with all channels coming in via satellite, now 90% of the channels (inc: sly/movies) have been removed.
Now apparently I've just found out that Openbox supports IPTV.
What do you think of this deal? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6-Months-Gift-IPTV-For-Openbox-V8s-F5-F3-V9-Zgemma-Skybox-Amiko-Vu-Duo-/192114230405?hash=item2cbae68485:g:F98AAOSw1WJZL8W-
I need send them a message regarding their service as they might want to allow us users using the smart-stb app for LG TV's to view mpeg-ts streams. Currently none of channels channels will play within the smart-stb app.
I was sent the following message by the developers of the smart-stb app.
Hello Nick, We see "unauthorized request" errors in the error log for your TV. We saw the same/similar errors with few other providers either giving out this or MPEG-TS stream with an message It seems the links by your provider are Temporary links tied to the IP address. Could you please ask your provider to process/parse the IP inside X-Forwarded-For / X-Real-IP that we send out or open port 88 (Apache backend) - this can solve the problem. Please note that the Smart STB app is seen as "proxy" with strict security settings while your TV accesses the Media URL directly and thus providing different IP and causing "Unauthorised" errors like this.
More info for the Service Provider: If you are the Service Provider and want your clients to watch from the Smart STB app on their smart TV's then please read on. If you have setup your Portal as per the official instructions from Infomir http://wiki.infomir.eu/doku.php/en:stalker:install_and_configure Then you only need to open port 88 on your server to allow the Smart STB app to work with all TV streams, Timeshift and VOD properly. If you use custom Portal Solution (for example bundled with Xtream Codes) then you need to read the X-Forwarded-For or X-Real-IP data that all TV's using the app are sending out. If you use other custom solution please make sure that you haven't disabled access for third party devices - check the config for "disable_third_party_devices" - it must be set to "false".
