What a good iptv-box for a beginner?

Hi!

I've been trying out iptv for the first time and iv'e been really impressed. I Tried alot of different apps on my Samsung TV (bay-iptv, smart stb, set iptv and ibo player) but none of them works perfectly. So I've decided to buy a box. What would you recommend? The ones i've been looking at is:

Tvip 605, Formuler Z8 pro, mi box, Nvidia shield tv and the new chromecast.

What would you recommend? I've been recommended to use the tivimate app by my friend, Is that a safe one on android?

I have a Mag box with my IPTV provider and I also have a firestick with GSE IPTV installed with the same IPTV provider and also an app on my Roku TV with the same provider. All of them one account on the same wifi networks. My question is if I was to give my brother a loan of my mag box with my IPTV on it would my provider know that it's on a different wifi network while I'm still using my Roku/Firestick at the same time?

Recommendations for a Smart Device for IPTV use with VPN

Recently my ISP has been restricting access to my m3u streams during the times that the football is on (what I mainly use the service for). I want to watch it on my smart tv but without being able to get a VPN on my tv this is becoming impossible. So I am looking at something like a firestick or chromecast or shield to stream the football with a VPN, any suggestions?

Both of the shows I watch got taken off of the series category.

I’m new to IPTV, and I don’t know if this happens often, but yesterday I went on to IPTV to watch an episode of the Simpsons and it wasn’t there, I checked the other show I watch, Impractical Jokers, and it wasn’t there as well. Is this a regularly occurring this, or a glitch?

I am looking for a free EPG grabber that I can use to filter out the channels that I do not want from the iptv-epg github site. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I tried EPG-Buddy but for some reason I cannot figure out how to get it setup correctly.

IPTV smarters episode preview

When watching episodes on IPTV smarters I keep getting a next episode preview box in the bottom right hand corner, it appears after only a few minute. Does anyone else get this and does anyone know how to remove it? Thanks

With Duplex no longer taking renewals, i need a replacement guys - absolutely gutted as Duplex has worked flawlessly for me for so long, its a shame they didnt consider their subscriber base when deciding to shut it down they should have released our licences so we could continue to use the app.

Has anybody found any worthwhile replacement app yet?

IPTV will not stream using IPVanish new Wireguard protocol

My reliable IPTV service works fine using IPVanish's UDP protocol, but will not work using the new Wireguard protocol. Is there any workaround for this?

XCIPTV

Hi,

My provider supplies a custom branded version of XCIPTV (using XTream) however the app does not disclose the DNS.

I want to be able to login on my iPad so I can watch the content when im not at home, I have decompiled the .APK however I cannot find the server:port he uses - is anyone able to help me?

activity_login xml and LoginActivity smali but they both look very standard and unedited

Any assistance anyone can provide will be much appreciated.

My provider requires us to use a vpn, he says, its the protect the servers from being shut down.

I'm not clued up on how the back end works. Is it true that if a customer doesn't use a vpn it could lear to the server/service being shut down

I must add, the service i receive from my provider is really good.

Apple TV IPTV apps re-visit

I'd like to come back to the topic as I have a number of questions of my own, and many of the questions posed in the previous posts were unanswered.

I downloaded and tried out 3 so far: IPTV Smarters, GSE Smart IPTV, and IPTVx.

My concern with IPTV Smarters, which most people list as a top choice, is that even though I paid for the "premium version", the Apple TV app seems to be missing many of the features found on my IOs version, such as a master search bar. The Apple TV app seems to be a stripped-down version. And there is no Apple TV app forum in their forums to ask -- the company seems almost exclusively focused on Android, which is fine, but not what I'm looking for. (Anyone have any suggestions for making the Apple TV app more full featured like the IOs one?)

Once past the setup screens and actually into the meat of the apps, I like the appearance of GSE Smart IPTV over IPTV Smarters. It seems totally okay and serviceable. But IPTVx (a recommendation I got here in this sub-reddit, thanks!) is by far the most attractive of the 3 so far.

IPTVx has the most "Apple-like" interface and is aesthetically my favorite. But in the few hours I've been testing it, there seem to be a number of EPG/TV Guide issues (and for some categories just none available). And the full-version is a bit pricey, but not so much so that I would not pay for it.

Any other attractive app recommendations for the Apple-like look and feel of IPTVx?

Or any ideas on how to fix my couple of issues with the above?

IPTV Smarters Pro Vs. XCIPTV

I'm using Google TV with Chromecast. I installed both application. I'm not happy with XCIPTV because it's hard to fast-forward video on demands. Because of that I tried IPTV Smarters Pro. Smarters is better at VOD.

But I found out that IPTV Smarters Pro opens live TV channels 1 seconds slower than XCIPTV. Does anybody have the same feeling or am I the only one? And does anybody recommend better one other than TiVi Mate?
