So I'm trying out siptv (smart IPTV) right now and although the quality is fine It doesn't seem to have the same FPS that I have when I use my legitimate TV provider. Especially when watching sports it's a bit annoying. Anyway to solve this? Is this just with siptv or are other IPTV providers exactly the same?

So the old router was working just fine.... got this new tp-link and despite it works on everything else.... the connection to my iptv is just horrible giving the slow motion like kind of streams

Which one is best if all I do is watch IPTV and use real debrid?

Where I live I can’t easily get hold of a fire stick or google cc with tv so these are my best options.

Mi box costs 70€ Shield tv costs 150€ Shield Pro costs 218€

Is +80€ really worth it for ai upscaling and better processor? Or would the mi box s just be fine for what I do? Or is the shield pro just that much better over the tv version that the 218€ is justified? I wouldn’t be using it for games or anything so just can’t see how much value the pro would bring me.

Everyone seems to say get a shield but don’t know if they mean the pro version or just the standard. Even then if the mi box would be a nice smooth experience with little to no lag do I even need a shield to begin with?

I've SIPTV downloaded on my LG smart TV. General, sports, movie channels ect all work perfect. However ppv and series have stopped updating. Any ideas how to fix the issue! I now have to cast from phone to TV to watch ppv as the events don't appear on the TV app.

I have this app on my dream link T3 and I use it for tv and stuff. But all of a sudden it won’t work and is asking me for a user ID and Password. Any idea why this is happening and what I can do to get the TV back on?

I have installed Smart IPTV, but it has no search functionality that I can see, is this normal or have I got an outdated version

Is there any device that works like this? or maybe some server software that I would run on a PC?

I tried to google-solution but with zero luck.

I've been using SIPTV with my LG B9 for the past year seamlessly. For the past few months, I've been experiencing 2 specific freezes:

- First, when the app loads the playlist - about 90s freeze before the playlist loads.

- Second, when you click a channel from the playlist screen - another ~90s freeze before the channel loads

From there onwards, the app works pretty flawlessly - middle-click to cycle channels, etc no problem. BUT, if you go "back" to the playlist screen, and then select another channel, the same freezes as above.

I have removed-reinstalled the app, and tried a range of setting adjustments (for ex, reloadplaylist on start on/off, don't refresh for 24/72 hrs) - can't figure out what is happening?

I really like this app, and I'm used to its functionality, so please don't ask me to change. Any help in debugging would be hugely helpful! I would have email SIPTV directly, but couldn't find an email to contact them?

Sorry if this a stupid question, I've just recently begun researching IPTV services.

My question is -- do they typically re-encode/re-compress the streams they get? Usually a cable provider will receive a high-bitrate stream from, for example CNN, something like 1080i H.264 sometimes 30+ mbps. And then they would compress it to maybe 10-12 mbps and send it to their subscribers. That's where I assume IPTV providers grab those streams and re-broadcast them to their customers.

But do they do any processing before they re-broadcast? I would assume transcoding every channel on demand in real time would consume a lot of CPU power, so my guess is that they don't. They just give you what they got from the source 1:1. Is this correct?

And further, how do they do the capturing and re-broadcasting? Is it screen capture (I hope not) or can they download the raw data and forward it to you in real time? I guess they all get their content from the same places, so it may already have been processed for them and all they have to do is pay for it and rebroadcast it, but I could be wrong about this.

Just wondering if anyone has insight on any of this, it would help me determine whether providers' quality varies significantly.

I have an Nvidia Shield using IPTV. Both services keep buffering every 5 minutes. Locast and all other apps, no issue. Using Tivimate. Tried with other IPTV apps, same thing happens. Tried using VPN, same. I even reset the Shield and reinstalled my apps. Any suggestions?

I have been using 4kOTT IPTV service for quite some time now on my Chromecast with Google TV on a 20 Mbps VDSL connection.

For 2 weeks now, I am facing a weird problem. Although my Ookla' Speed test shows the full speed available; however, my IPTV service on TiviMate buffers like hell during 2 pm - 5 pm and 8 pm - 12 pm.

I even tried changing the software to IPTV Smarter PRO, reset my device multiple times, and even my router as well. But when I changed the internet connection from VDSL to Mobile Phone's Internet, it starts to work "perfectly" and "smoothly", without any buffer.

DSL support guy and checked with the streaming (IPTV is legal in my country), and even he didn't have a clue as to why is it happening on the DSL connection and NOT when I stream through the mobile internet. He just told me that it might be a load balancing issue at their end and went away to raise this query to the higher technicians.

1. Am I being throttled? or is that actually a load issue?

2. Are there any other ways I can address and explain it to the ISP representatives?

3. Would VPN help me with that? or some dns or proxy will help me with that?

I have the newer Amazon Fire Cube 4k and it has been on WIFI and hard wired to my Comcast XB7 modem. I have also tried connecting to my mesh router system I have from PLUME. I have 1 Gbps download speed and randomly I have buffering issues using IPTV from sayuncletv. I do not believe it is a bandwidth or hardware issue as same issue happened on the regular firestick. I upgraded to the cube for more space, cpu, etc... I was wondering if anyone else has comcast and experiences throttling by the provider? I have IPVANISH setup on my firestick and set to scramble so that it can't detect it is a VPN, since I figured comcast may throttle VPN detected traffic as well. I am going to give a few days testing this setup and see if the buffering disappears but wanted to see if anyone else hahs experienced this.
