Not sure is this considered "trade secrets", but I'd thought I'd ask anyway.

Where does everyone get their boxes from?

Prices are all over the place. Obviously the more you buy the lower the price, I'm worried about getting a bum deal.

If you sell or have a lead on a reputable seller that has decent prices, could please PM me or let me know.

Thanks so much

Noob question about VPN. Which server country to use

noob here. I am in US. I recently got an IPTV service going with a Mag box. I have a router with dd wrt flashed, and a NordVPN account. I want to enable VPN at the router - this I can figure out how. My question - which country’s servers do I use so that I am not in trouble with my ISP. Can I use a US location that NordVPN recommends or should I use some other country’s server. Thanks in anticipation!

IPTV buffering, setup, service, etc.

Hi Everyone - I have a couple of IPTV questions. I have streamed video previously using Kodi add-ons, the various APKs, etc. I found an IPTV service a few weeks ago and gave it a try (I am using an ‎Nvidia Shield, the service uses IPTV Smarters). It seemed to work good at first, but now it just buffers. I wrote the IPTV provider and he told me to change a few settings but I'm still getting the same results.

So I guess my questions are:

- Anyone use IPTV Smarters and have any suggestions on how to fix and/or alternatives?

- Is this common as far as a service to start off good, then drop in quality? Logically, I can see if it got more popular than their infrastructure everyone will suffer.

-Anyone have any general suggestions for Nvidia Shield IPTV setup as far as IPTV services/apps/players go?

Please settle an argument for me regarding the Mag Box for TV

My mother is a big fan of Indian TV shows which the only way she had been able to see is with the DISH satellite international program. Unfortunately starting in 2019, DISH sent an email saying they are no longer covering the channels she wanted (I believe SUN TV, etc).

She did some research and through some friends they suggested the MAG box would be a great solution. The biggest issue that I have been arguing against this is that for this to work, it would have to use data on the satellite internet currently in place (where we both live there is no cable TV, so have to get internet and TV through the internet).

Satellite internet is expensive and where we are, there are no unlimited options. We actually have a low data plan of 12 GB/mo (for $60) that after it is used up throttles down considerably.

I say that this MAG box would chew through this data in the first couple of days while she says her friends told her that it just needs internet to connect to but doesn't use any data.

Would love to hear from anyone that can give the facts to settle this (I would love for it to be true for her, but it just doesn't sound like this box is magic and doesn't use any of the limited satellite data.

Question regarding STB Emu on a LG Smart TV with WebOS

So I have an LG tv with WebOS. I saw they have an STB Emu and Smart IPTV app available. The question that I have is, once configured and the IPTV service is functioning normally. What happens when I turn off my LG tv? Does the iptv or STB Emu app completely turn off? If so, doesn't that present a delay while the app relaunches and establishes connection with the portal?

How can I start a IPTV service?

I want to start a IPTV service for cheap until I become decently recognized. Can someone please explain the basic processes such as good vps providers for restreaming, good ways to restream a bunch of channels in 720p without much load. And a way to manage my channels and add customers (possibly a panel) as cheap as possible?

How can i pick the best fps channel from a list

So I have two IPTV providers, both with hundreds of sources. I watch mainly sports events and for each one usually want 1080/50 or 1080/60 (the holy grail) but will usually settle for 720/60 over 1080/25.

My question is, is there any software which shows at a glance the frame rate and resolution of channels without clicking each one? Currently I use IPTV smarters to check frame rate of all the likely channels and then choose best.

Tldr how do I find the best FPS in my 1000's of IPTV channels

I just realize Hosting IPTV consume a lot of Bandwidth

This is something take me by surprise , I was planning to have couple of LowEnd VPS's to do restreaming , but surprise surprise these VPS's were limited to certain bandwidth Monthly ~500G-1TB max aweee so let get's to numbers :- 1 HD Channel @720p broadcast at 4 Mbit/s 4 Mbit/s = 512 KB/s = 1.758 GB/Hour = 42.2 GB/Day = 1265.63 GB/month = 1.236 TB/month

BTW I got one VPS for ~10$/Yr but it has 500GB/monthly bandwidth limitation which will end me buying another one for the second half of the month this will increase 1 channel re-stream price to ~2$ so 20$ for the 10 channel I preparing to start with .

that's makes the total cost of servers hosting ~200$/Yr just for sorce channels rebroadcasting

BTW I was thinking offer different quality starting from 256Kbit(not kidding)-512Kbit-680Kbit-1Mbit-2Mbit-4Mbit , I may end-up using one quality 680Kbit and let the source VPS handle the transcoding . So what you think about my project .

channels pausing and looping the same few seconds - provider or VLC?

Sometimes when I'm watching something, it keeps pausing, then replaying the last few seconds. It doesn't always happen though

Right now the source is "filmon dot tv" and its happening. when I go to filmon directly, it doesn't happen.

So is this caused by my IPTV provider or VLC Player? It is a low powered laptop I'm watching on right now if that makes a difference.

Thanks

Why can't I get a good stream?

Let me pick your brains...

I bought a 2018 BuzzTv XPL3000 with Android 7.1.2 with 2GB RAM and 8GB Internal memory. I tried several IPTV resellers and found a great one linking to the Ok2 server, and I connect via hard-wire ethernet with fast internet service.

The channel selection is great with many VOD movies. But no matter what I watch, i get intermittent stutters or buffering, usually with movies.

Is this normal? Any suggestions? Help me. Cheers.

My dad's thinking of canceling his sky subscription and going for IPTV, my question is: is there any need to?

We have a computer hooked up the TV already and this could be used as a media server but I'm wondering why someone would go for IPTV over using free services like popcorn time?

Storage wouldn't be an issue (and in fact storing torrents would probably be more desirable for accessing films) and popcorn time deletes the torrent after you've watched anyway, so is the only advantage live TV and a fancy UI?

New to this

Hi guys I'm thinking about buying a subscription for an IPTV service, and I still have some doubts about it.
First, do you a android box? If so, what's the best one you could get ?
Secondly, What should I look for in a service ?

Thirdly, Should I try to buy it from another country if it's cheaper?
Thank you all
