I have just purchased a Nvidia Shield Console and am looking to use this as our households primary media device for television, movies and sports.

At this stage we just have a Netflix subscription but I am willing to put in some time and work so this can work well for our home.

I am not familiar with IPTV's as in the past we simply just had a cable connection.

Also it is important to note we are in New Zealand with VDSL (approx. 100 mbps down) - fibre available soon.

Any help or guidance would be very much appreciated.

Where would be a good point for reference to start setting up?

I’ve been using the two apps for months and all was great, however I did something and the source (Vader’s) is only picking up the sports source of Vader’s. Wtf did I do?! Help!

What's the benefit of using a reseller over direct to who they are reselling?

Also lots of channels have the G at the bottom which is global? Do they do direct sales or are they just providers?

I dont understand why IPTV's dont support this. Most mobile CPU's these days have native HEVC and PC's can always download the codec. I mean half the bitrate must be pretty beneficial. They could have a mix of HEVC and AVC.

i want it with the very best 4k channels available paticulary for uk channels i want tons of porn minimum 120 channels then a ton of vod adult content as well then i want a ton of live pay per view showing the latest events from wwe live wrestling federation and live ppv boxing and ufc events as wellthanks marcus plus tons of the very latest films in vod want thousands of channels

Currently using aragon live and maverick. Probably the best addons I've found for iptv so far. Still issues with connection, streaming ability and random disconnection. I know kodi isn't a replacement for mainstream cable services. Does anyone have any suggestions for settings or addons to optimize iptv?

Are there any providers other than Nitro that offer 24/7 content?

Is there a huge performance difference? I'm running a crappy old android box, and seemingly some channels are experiencing media player related difficulties.

I see mag 322s are about 140 CAD on amazon, a bit steep if it will not increase performance. Any insight is appreciated.

They've been promising it for what seems like forever but I turned on my T1+ this evening and installed the latest update and lo & behold, once it connected to Fab, the entire EPG loaded...All at once...Not a channel at a time, not a page at a time, the whole thing. I have also tested on Eternal TV and OK2 where the EPG loaded right up on Eternal but only partially loaded and struggled to load on OK2

Something else I just noticed after the update, DreamOnline now supports M3U playlists in the Portals menu. So now you can add 5 portal URLs that use MAC authentication and 1 M3U URL.

Has anyone else updated and gotten similar results? My DOL2 app version is v1.09.17-r1577 while the S/W version on my T1+ is v2.8.0, revision r12700 in case anyone is curious

I'm currently subscribed to Vaderstreams and enjoying it, but they don't carry the Pittsburgh Pirates games reliably. Their Live TV app claims they do, but the stream is rarely correct (often playing a different sport or channel) and even when they do show it, its the away stream.

What IPTV provider has access to the Pirates games with the team's feed? The channel was formerly called Root Sports, but now its called ATT&T Sports.

Can u guys record on it? if yes what service do u have and if that affects the recording. I have Nitro and I tried with formatted USB and MicroSD, I start to record ( manual, schedule ) and it shows record then it goes dark and then sometimes comes back and it stops like after 2 mins and sats stream not available. I go and check the PVR, its nothing but 1 min recording which doesnt even play, I tried different players ( default, internal etc), all the same? Any ideas? Its not the unit is it?

I can't figure out what the issue is. My provider is Vaders, I have 3 Firesticks, The router is less than 3 meters from the main firestick yet it only shows a download speed on 5ghz of 20mb. My laptop in the back bedroom still on 5ghz can hit over 50mb. A direct cable connection to the router gives 78mb.

This has only started happening this past month or so, buffering. And it happens quite often. Even if I was getting 20mb It should still work fine. Put it this way before I had fibre broadband I had an 8mb connection and it gave better results on Gears.

Whats the weakest link? Is it Vaders being oversubscribed? I'd love to say it only happens at prime time or during sporting events but it can happen any time.

Anyone have any positive experiences with them? Haven't heard much good..but though I would ask here.

Are there any that off this and catchup? I use stbemu bit woyld like subtitles as my hearing is terrible! Thank you all.

I’ve read that you can sort of stream with Plex using both pc and PS4 but I wanna know if there’s something I can do to just load my m3u link on the PS4? Thanks

Recently found out about IPTV and would love to find providers with Scandinavian (swedish) channels, help me out =)

I'm on a 100meg connection. I've changed my DNS to Google's and Cloudfare's with no change. Using a Dreamlink T2 with 10 sec buffering turned on. Beams have moved servers for me (to a server closer one to where I live) but it's still buffering every 20-30 seconds on both HD and SD channels.

I also have Eternal TV and it buffers maybe once or twice a hour for a few seconds but otherwise no problems.

Any other changes I could do on my network/router to fix this?

Since most of provider offer lots of channels which I dont watch. Do you have anyway to remove those channel or countries channel. If your user control panel has that option that would be perfect. Please send me your info and trial option. I am looking for express,voodoo,crown or ok2 type of service

Well as the title says, I would like to know how your IPTV worked out for you on these PPV's.

I was using Reloaded IPTV which had 2 channels dedicated to each PPV. One in 720 and 1080. I mostly used the 720 for both PPV's.

Wrestlemania was great for about the first 2 hours then started to get pixelated (some freezing). I backed out of that stream and reconnected with a great picture.

During the UFC PPV. No issues with Reloaded IPTV

Just to be transparent: I'm not a reseller of any IPTV service, just an IPTV power user :-)

I'm using perfect player on an old Amazon firestick. Also tried using perfect player on my phone (OnePlus 2). I'm finding certain channels have serious audio issues. The audio itself seems to be about 10 seconds ahead of the video. Seems like it might be more on the HD channels. No SD channels seem to be having issues.

Any ideas?
