I finally took the plunge to try out IPTV after a crapshoot on direc tv now with stripped amazon fire tv apk. that has come to an end it seems.

I have signed up for 1 month of gears tv before i knew the vast world of IPTV. I have been looking at the guides but just need a quick pointer. I like gears but it's a 20$ for one device.

What is better in terms of picture. im watching gears tv now with NBA playoffs and picture is acceptable but not great and can get pixely.

Is vaders or epicstreams better? if not what do you recommend for under $20 (mainly care for US channels) Thanks

I much prefer the Enigma look and interface when it comes to watching TV, so I'm looking to get an Enigma box solely for IPTV.

I have a budget of 400 Pounds, and only have two requirements from the box; the first is it have beefy internals (to run IPTV and recording etc flawlessly), and the second 4K capability. I know, I know, no IPTV has 4K channels at the moment, but it's just for a future proof thing.

I've been considering a VU+ 4K Ultimo, but some have suggested a ZGemma H7 as it's compatible with Whoosh etc.

Using normal IPTV channels the screen resolution is fine with my provider but the VOD content is wrong. Problem is when I try to adjust it in the settings ,it won't change and the screen is too tall. Doesn't matter which player I use either. I've installed MX Player Pro which plays everything in the right screen but it auto loads the first channel when browsing through the sections. Can that be stopped? Thanks.

So I just found out about tvheadend and that it can be used as a dvr. My questions is can this be done through kodi alone, or do i need some kind of special setup? I just subscribed to Eternal TV and would love dvr. I run kodi either through my xbox one or android tv. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey all, hoping someone may have some experience with TVH. I'm running it on a Pi3 and it's been working fine for months now... right up until I changed IPTV providers.

Now what I'm finding is that when streaming live TV the stream stutters constantly. Every 10 seconds or so the image pixelates, audio drops, and the stream buffers. Give it a few and it'll come back, only to repeat the process.

If I use TVH to record the stream the recording turns out fine. It plays back without any hiccups. This suggests the streams themselves are fine.

In both cases I'm playing back the stream on PC with VLC, so processing power on the client side certainly isn't the issue.

Anyone have any suggestions?

If say, just as an example, a consumers download rate is 80 Mbps at user end why do some channels still buffer? Questioning the IPTV supplier, they say their servers are fine and are streaming perfectly well so why does IPTV streaming buffering happen during its path to the consumer?

Sometimes a channel won't buffer and streams perfectly well whereas at other times it buffers.

Does anyone know why buffering occurs with streaming IPTV?

Does it happen along the pathway to the consumer?

I just received the set tv box but it won't connect to my wifi, gives connect error when I put in password. Connected to ethernet and downloaded new firmware but still won't connect to wifi, which is the connection I need. Any thoughts ? I've rebooted the box multiple times and rebooted my home network as well

I'm trialing a IPTV and it doesnt work when my VPN is enabled (NordVPN). I've trialed another IPTV that also doesnt work with the VPN enabled. Are there any VPN friendly IPTV's? I'm in the UK and want UK channels

Back in the day I used to watch two sports programs when I had my cable service simultaneously and it was convenient when two live sporting events were on at the same time. Now that I've been a cord cutter and using IPTV service I would love for them to have a feature like picture in picture, is there anybody doing that/is there a market for that feature? Right now I'm using Fab and used Smoothstreams in the past so I am pretty familiar with the IPTV providers right now so if there is a service like that please let me know thanks.
