does anyone know if the IplayTv app for AppleTv have a search function for movied/titles? I've looked around for a couple of minutes and can't seem to locate anything. It's really tedious to search through 5000+ entries to find what you are looking for.

I am using iptv smarters pro app on fire stick. In the section “Live with EPG” when you try to select or change a channel, a small pop up comes up that asks what action to perform from: Play, Favourite and forget the third option. But is there a way to have it just play the channel on selection everytime? Rather than get asked the question on every channel select? Its very annoying, i cant find any default option in settings. I know there are other apps but any solution for this? TIA

Hello! Maybe this will seem like a dumb question but I have no idea about this thing. I want to install Netflix or the WATCHED app on my MAG250, but after a bit of searching I realized that its OS simply doesn’t allow that. So I wondered maybe there is a way to replace the OS with a Linux distro (since MAG250 is basically a Linux box) by connecting it to PC or through a flash drive (flashing an image from USB on bios) or maybe there is a way to access it’s cmd?

I’m wondering what type of Ethernet cable is best for IPTV (5e, 6, 7, etc) in terms of both connectivity (ie, least likely to ‘cut out’) and picture quality (if the cable makes a difference). We have gigabit internet but I’m not sure if that matters or not. Thanks in advance

Hey guys I had soplayer on my windows laptop for about a year now. Yesterday I switch iptv providers so I Uninstalled and reinstalled it and now it just has a big blue loading circle on the screen. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling it again several times and as soon as I open it it just goes right back to the same screen. Can anyone help me out? Its very frustrating because when my kids take over my TV I can retreat to my room and watch it on my TV with the lap tops hdmi out. Please help me. Thanks guys

I am with origin broadband and have a ASUS N16 router I have had many issues with the router not playing any streams. If I connect my phone hotspot to my 4K Firestick my IPTV plays fine. Any help on the router settings would be much appreciated

I'm looking for a player for my Mac that will let me use an EPG xml file in addition to the m3u playlist.

Hi. I'm currently using tivimate, and it's decent i think. But i would love to have more than 1 favourites folder, so that i could i separate sports/movies/networks.. Like "add channel to favourites 1/2/3"

Is there anything out there that offers this feature?

Hello, I am planning on buying a new TV for my grandmother and also wanted to upgrade her current IPTV box. I currently use a Mag 324 on a non smart TV. The performance is pretty poor and on some days it just seems to not connect to the IPTV Portal properly even though the m3u works perfectly on my firetv stick.

My first thought was to install an app for the new smart tv, but the problem is that she is having a hard time with those interfaces. Since she always has been using cable on non smart tvs and has used nothing else than power on, arrow down/up and the keypad.

Is there a way to make the transition seemless? She pretty much just wants to turn on the tv with one remote and then the channel should pop up with no accidental way to escape from it using the remote(like pressing home button).

I've been looking around for a few days now but didn't find a solutions which really fits. Most of them are like most android boxes with integrated home launchers and iptv apps etc..

Are there TV's which have the ability to play Iptv like normal cable tv, or is a new device needed? Since I didn't decide which TV I am going to buy yet. The mag seems pretty easy to use. But is there a better solution you guys know?

My MAG322 died and I order a MAG420W1, before that I got a MAG254. I set the protal and now I can only read "the firmware of your STB is outdated". Funny part is a friend got the same MAG and the same provider, no issue but after searching on Google I find the problem (Infomir is pushing Ministra platform, not Stalker support anymore).

This was my last MAG box and I will send it back but what is the best option? A friend use it with M3U file and the quality is trash :/ compare to MAG.

Hello. I'm getting into IPTV for the first time and need to decide on device. I've been doing my research, and still a few things I'm not sure of which is why I would appreciate your help.

The things that are priorities for me are:

• ability to record at least 2 simultaneous programs while watching a 3rd channel.
• Ability for currently watched channel to be buffered so I can pause, rewind and fast-forward within the buffered time (like cable TV boxes)
• Ability to have 1TB storage space for recordings (Internal or External usb SSD/HDD)
• Modern and nice UI and Guide (like cable TV boxes)

I will be using the system only for IPTV uses and so any additional android OS features (other apps, etc) are not important to me as I will not use them at all. Although ability to have VPN enabled on the box would be a MASSIVE advantage.

My family is so used to the cable TV box experience and watching things on "our time" that we essentially NEVER watch actual LIVE tv and sitting through commercials is simply a no-go. Not seen a commercial in 5 years. This is why the recording ability is at the top of my priority list. And I'm willing to pay extra for that convenience. So I'm not looking to save a dollar here and there, I rather pay for the better system and have peace later.

Based on my research I have narrowed down my choices to a fireTV with TiViMate OR a top end Formuler Box with the their special app.

I understand that the Nvidia Shield is also an option, however my understanding is that if I use the Shield I will need to still get TiViMate and the shield offers me nothing new that the fireTV doesn't offer. I have 0 use for the gaming features, so I don't see why I should pay extra for the shield, (unless if it has some other advantage I don't know about: internal HDD, better privacy, etc?). Please inform me.

The issue I have with the fireTV is that attaching an enxternal storage to it is a bit unwieldy.

The problem I have with the Formuler box is that the android version is older (7.0) and I'm not sure if its gonna cause me problems in the future (it might not, I don't know, tell me).

I love the multiscreen PnP feature of TiViMate, however I'm not sure if it does the live TV pause/FF/RW feature and recording more than one channel at once. (Remember I have never actually used any of these, this is my first time). The formuler does apparently have the live pause/FF/RW, but again I'm not sure about if it can record more than one show at at a time.

Again, the ability to record more than one show at the same time and the live-buffer feature what whats important to me, and money is not really the issue, I want the best setup. What would your advice be for me?

so, what should i get? i have been looking at the MECOOL ATV KM3, mostly becaus it seems to be cheap and pretty powerfull from what i can tell? but i cant find anything about it supporting hdmi-cec i really only want one remote. and what is the diffrence between the km3 and km9 pro?

i have also been looking at the Formula Z8 Pro 4K, its a little more expensive though, then there is also the gtv version?

the nvidia shield pro is to expensive, and it needs to be a small box, i can hide behind my tv, as its mounted on a wall without anything to put a box on, so it needs to be something i can hide away.

so what box should i get? i prefere to get something that runs fast and no lag in menus and so on.

I don't know that much about iptv, but recently I was at a local gas station and the they had a little (what looked like) android tv box for sale, so I asked about it and he said it's packaged with an iptv service for $20/month and that includes all the big streaming platforms like Netflix, Crave, and Prime. He claimed that I don't even need accounts for those services and the $20/mo gets me access to all their content. This sounded too good to be true...is it? Thanks

I'm using Ministra on my apple device but the casting feature doesn't work very well and keeps getting disconnected. Is there any way I can install the client on my Amazon Fire Stick/Roku so I don't need to cast it from another device?

Hi all - I finally ordered the Formuler Z8 Pro (moving from Mag 254).

One feature that intrigues me is the ability to be able to view content and control the box on a mobile device. From what I can see in the specs, it uses something call “Air Sync Remote Z” to do this.

Does anyone use this feature? Presume it works well?

Also - is there a way to do this on iOS devices or is this for Android devices only?

Iv got a mag box 256 My streams are stalling badly today.. iv got average 70 mbps on my router..but if I do the speedtest through the mag box its 7 mbps...its plugged directly into the router. Any advice welcome

Anybody have experience with this device. Its on sale right now at amazon. Any toughts besides go with the 4k, i dont see the point with 4k firestick, when providers only give you 1080 at best. Let me know if its worth it.

I am getting back into IPTV. I had a mag box many moons ago but I'm reading formuler is the way to go these days. My question is, if I'm only using the box wired to my router, is it worth getting the z+ or does the z8/pro bring more to the table than just really good wireless connection?

I was looking into purchasing a better device for iptv use. I currently use the Amazon 4K stick and have lots of buffer issues even on 120 mbps I tried an Ethernet adapter and even a vpn and still lots of buffering. I was looking into the nvidia shield or the pro just not sure if paying more for the pro is worth it. (Also open to any suggestions).

Checking with the iptv I’m subbing to, it seems whenever I watch North American sports it plays so smooth but horrible picture quality and whenever I instantly watch that same sports on an European sports channel it looks stuttery but has a better picture quality. Why is that?

Hey everyone, I’m new to this sub. After doing some research, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Formuler Z8. So far, the experience has been great. The only complaint I have is the remote.

For reference, I have a cupboard under my TV, and that’s where I put the Formuler Z8 (alongside my Apple TV and other devices). I run the HDMI cables through a hole and into the back of the TV.

The issue is that since the Z8 is in the cupboard, the remote control signal doesn’t seem to work. I have to open the cupboard and point the remote at the Z8 in order to be able to use it. Whereas with my Apple TV, I can use the remote even with the cupboard closed. The Z8 came with a IR extended but it doesn’t work at all.

Any idea how I can fix this?

Edit: the IR extender wasn’t working for some reason. I was still within the return date eligibility, so I’ve returned it and bought the GTV instead. Thanks for all the help.
