German IPTV Channels?

I've been using BESTIPTV and whilst their service for the SD channels is fine, their HD channels are flaky at best.

Can anyone recommend an IPTV Service with German channels? Bundesliga etc.

Thank you so very much!

Questions from a IPTV noob regarding mac

I've been told that the MAC address from a STB is locked to the IPTV provider. Is this true? Is there anyway to avoid that?

Also those IPTV providers who are offering free trials, will my MAC not get locked to them if I do the trial for a day for example?

A Few Questions from a newbie

Thinking about getting a subscription.

Apologies if these have been asked before.

  1. Do we need a STB to access IPTV? I'm in my office quite a bit and would like to be able to view content on my laptop through the browser or something.

  2. Are all content providers pretty much the same? I see a lot of options on Kijiji but want something reliable and has the most channels, especially Canadian content.

Thanks

STB Emulator vs Dedicated Unit

Is there any excess performance to be had with having a dedicated iptv unit like a MAG 254 vs running STB Emulator on a capable android box? I am currently running STB Emulator on a M8S+ and wondering if getting a MAG 254/250/ AVOV will bring me any benefit?

Noob IPTV Question: How to use .apk given by provider?

I'm using OpenELEC(Kodi) on my RaspberryPi2 and just purchased a month subscription to test it out.

My provider has given me an apk file to install and then find a mac address given in the Stalker client.

I've configured the Stalker client but my MAC still shows as 00:00:00 - I also have no idea what to do with the apk file provided.

Could anyone help?

Dextertv Pro views

Anyone using this iptv sub and know how to change the view in the live tv section?? It defaults to logos (using Titan skin) and there's just not enough logos to make it look good I change it all the time to list view but it keeps defaulting back to logo

Any advice appreciated :)

Side note it's a "decent" iptv for the price 8$ a month .. It's nothing I'm over the moon over but it's not bad .. Tried to watch the hockey game today on a few channels buffered a bit and lost sound for a while but i still think it's worth the money as its so cheap

Here's my (newbie) IPTV story

I'm brand new to IPTV, but as a Brit living in the US I wanted to find a way to watch HD British TV and lots and lots of football. HBO and PPV events would be nice too!

I cut the cable cord about 3 years ago so I mostly use Apple TV and thanks to my wife's granny and her cable subscription I have access to NBC Sports for the premier league matches. I subscribed to fubo.tv for la liga and the champions league, but unfortunately granny doesn't have Fox Sports as part of her package so I was SOL for the Europa League. I also use a HDHomerun and a digital antenna to get the HD local channels.

I use a smartdns service and a UK apple ID to load BBC iPlayer which is great quality and TVPlayer for a bunch of the SD OTA channels.

So I bought a MAG 254 box. Initially I thought about just side loading Kodi on to the Apple tv (one box to rule them all!), so I did that, but I wasn't a great fan of the experience.

My first foray into paid IPTV was using a free 24 hour trial at iptvsubs.is. The channel line up looked great and for the first 20 minutes everything was perfect. The price is reasonable ($132 for one year). Then everything started to slow down. Channels were buffering, cutting out or simply not loading. I went to their website and looked at their forum and realized I was not the only one and maybe they need to buy additional hardware to keep up with demand.

Next I tried the free 24 hour pass from AlphaCS. ($135 for a year). Great quality HD/SD channels, very Eurocentric, but no HBO (in English).

Third choice was iks66.(NFPS) They didn't have a 24 hour trial, so I paid for a month ($9). They were the most difficult to set up, and I was charged twice. They said the first credit card did not go through, so I used a different card. In actuality both went through and I am working now to get the extra charge refunded. At $80 per year they were the cheapest of the bunch and had a huge selection of global channels, especially South America. I did not experience any buffering, but every channel is SD and some were really poor quality.

I really liked the channel selection of IPTV Express. I saw the channel listing on a couple of different resellers websites, but it took some investigative work to find out who the actual provider was. They are very big on southwest Asian language channels but also have a great selection of English HD channels, both from the UK and US and a lot of HD sports channels including about 20 cricket channels! I found a price of $100 a year. The reseller did not offer a trial, so I paid for a month and although he had the slowest response time (24+ hours) the selection and price is exactly what I was looking for. They even had Liverpool FC channel, which was a big bonus! No buffering, very clear HD/4K channels. Assuming everything continues well, this is probably the service I will continue with.

As a side note I discounted ntv.mx because of cost (~$500 p/a for the channels I wanted) and ruyu (~$360 p/a).

I'd like to thank everyone in the sub for some great recommendations and especially the list of preferred vendors. If I can answer any questions for anyone hesitant to take the plunge, let me know!

**Edit to add - forgot about Rapid IPTV. Requested a free trial, as listed on their website, and a week later I'm still waiting....

IPTVsubs vs NFPS

Hey guys, I wanted to get some opinions on NFPS (IPTV Private Server, IKS66, etc).

  • What are the pro's and con's of having something like NFPS?
  • Will it work on Kodi?
  • What US channels do they offer, and how consistent is the viewing?
  • Can the services be used on more than 1 device at a time? (Not looking to share, however I want to be able to view it on 1 more device in my home at the same time.)

I currently have IPTVsubs and SportsAccess, extremely satisfied. I've just been seeing some good things about IPTV Private Server, and wanted to compare the two services. To add, I am not looking for ultra crisp HD, just watchable streams (540p would be sufficient enough).

Thanks!

How do IPTV providers provide channels to end users?

I mean, do they have sources that have paid for channels, and those sources then just upload to IPTV providers, who then in return, stream it forward to end users?

How does it work.

IPTV Box vs RPi2 with Kodi

Can someone please explain how an IPTV Box works (MAG Boxes, Tube TV, Android TV Boxes, etc.), as in, how can that box have all the IPTV channels and movies and work properly all the time?

My brother bought a MAG box from someone in the Toronto area and it works flawlessly. He has all the US and CAD channels, plus a ton of others from around the world, and he's not paying anything monthly. The seller just tells me that's how he gets the boxes, so he doesn't know how it's all setup, though I suspect he's lying because people doing it on their own would just take away his sales.

I already have a RPi2 with Kodi on it, which is connected to my TV and home theater system, and I have all the Fusion add-ons and so forth, but pretty much only get UK channels and other obscure channels. Why can't I get the US and CAD channels like his MAG box? I've searched endless on the net on how to get this going and I just can't find it.

Is the MAG using M3U lists, or apps, or ... ? ... I have no idea. Basically, is it possible to create my own IPTV box with what I currently have?

Any help?

Please and thank you.

Anyone looking for Ruya sub?

(Mods, sidebar says no rules, it is IPTV, but I understand if you want to delete)

Since there is no official Ruya website I thought I would post here for those looking to sign up.

I sell Ruya subscriptions and offer support for those who need it, will get you set up. I have a facegroup with 250+ members where we post live fixtures, information about channels and all in all keep you in the loop, its a place where you can come to chat and have banter.

Ruya have hundreds of channels in HD, offer a 14 day catch up service as well as movies and tv shows on demand. UK, US, Italian, French, Portuguese, Dutch, Turkish, Serbian, Slovenian channels, for a fraction of the price cable would cost.

We aren't resellers of resellers like RuyaXL, we use the current up to date Ruya IPTV add on, version 1.2.

Sick of seeing people buy from individuals who have no clue and then receive no support from them.

If you're looking for a sub and to join the facebook group, message me and I will be happy to help.
