Any recommendations on apps that allow full remote control / assistance on android?

The version of TeamViewer i currently use is going end of life and newer versions do not allow full access, only view on most boxes, even with the universal addon.

When i turn off my tv, my mag 254 box also turns off. This was not the case before, it always stayed on so when i turn on tv i see the iptv channels right there. Now i have to turn it on using box remote or replug the power cable to it.

EPG is great, but I find it frustrating when all I want to do is search for a particular program and have to scroll endlessly. Anyone have some tips on how to search for a show?

Is there a way to cast xciptv app to chromecast? I tried using vlc, and that worked, but the vlc app wasn't as easy to use as xciptv.

My bf's dad told me to use xciptv. I've never tried this TV streaming before so I'm not even sure how any of this works

Hi everyone - Before investing a lot of time and effort into using one of these playlist editors. I've heard one of these editors do not keep your playlist if you haven't used it in a specific time frame (30 days?) Is this true? Has this happened to anyone?

I was trying to use EPG Best as a supplemental source. I was trying to upload my provider m3u link and it said the file was too large. Any suggestions on how to effectively cut the list down or a source that can handle large files?

Or should I look for another provider? I don't know who the back end provider is.

In terms of purely running IPTV, and I must stress, I do not give a flying fuck about running android apps, Netflix etc, which one of these will offer the best experience on a budget?!

I know the Formulear Z8 and Nvidia Shield are better, but we don't have the budget for those, so which is the best option below £80?

So recently I've encountered an issue with the Premier league blocks. I normally get very reliable streams, but now it seems the vpn isn't working as well as it was previously. just wondering if its the same for others.

I have accounts with ipvanish, nord and surfshark. but recently I can't seem to get a stable stream if i use UK based servers anymore, my most reliable vpn right now is nord connected to a German based server. I am looking at trying express now to see if that fares any better.

I have it set up through openvpn on my router so I've cut out any compatibility issues. changing servers to Germany has definitely helped. although it's a lower overall speed, it seems to circumvent the EPL blocks.

has anyone else got suggestions on other VPNs that are reliable enough for iptv and don't get blocked when games are on?

I have a text list of favorite channels I extracted from a huge merged list of IPTV m3u files. I'd like to take my new merged m3u list and use a tool to grep/extract only the m3u channels that match with my favorites channel list. Is there a software or online resource that would help with that task? Thanks.

I have a MAG 254 STB with the the original remote but I don't use MAG 254 as it becomes non responsive and needs rebooting frequently possibly due to insufficient processing power and RAM.

I now use StbEmu Pro on the Fire Stick 4K and was wondering if I could use my infomir MAG 254 remote to control StbEmu Pro on Fire Stick

Hey there, like the title says, I'm looking for VPN recommendations. I've been using ipvanish this past year and now that my membership is over I'm looking to try a different VPN. I know that using a vpn hinders your internet speeds but using ipvanish typically would cut my download speed by 50-60%. I just find that to be too big of a hit and when using ipvanish my iptv service would constantly buffer. I contacted their support and did some troubleshooting, but was still getting my speeds greatly affected. They said it was normal but I think I just need to try a different VPN service.

I'm currently using fire tv sticks in all of my tvs, using WiFi and cannot do hardwire connections due to the layout of my apartment.

If anyone is using a different VPN service with their fire tv, what is your recommendation and experience with that vpn.

Hiya. I currently got a 4k firestick and accoring to my iptv suppli2 they are telling me it ain't fast enough. There is no way im dropping 200 bucks on a shield. So what other options have a got? lets keep it under 100 bucks.

I tried to post this in android boxes but for some reason I'm not allowed to post. All I do is stream IPTV, use APK'S for movies and YouTube. I'd like something with 1gig LAN in case I decide to hardwire my house and at least 3gigs RAM. If possible I don't want to spend over $100, but will for the right box.

So, I have a friend who is a subscriber to an iptv provider. The device works really well and he doesn’t experience many problems. The issue I have is, he’s told me in their support chat group that when his speed drops and his device suffers as a result, the support guys tell his to switch his router and his device off for anywhere between 20mins and an hour! I’ve said this is complete nonsense but I just wondered what anyone else’s opinion is. I reckon 2 minutes does the job, what do you think?

I have tried several IPTV apps, particularly myIPTV PLayer, GSE SMART IPTV and ProgDVB. The only app that I have been able to get closed captioning working reliably in is VLC. Is this normal? I like VLC, but the lack of EPG is a minor annoyance.

So my question is that does the box work same way in both countries, I assume it should but yesterday retailworker from electronics shop said that they are not very common here (Finland) and only few might work, if you buy Amazon they won’t work. That doesn’t seem right but I don’t know for sure.

Second country is Catalunuya (Spain) and for example if I buy basic Xiaomi or 50-100€ box it should work just fine?

And less importantly, how about the service? Obviously I cal always change when I go from country to country but are they country based or ”everyone can use everything, it’s internet” ?

I got a Samsung TV connected to Apple TV 4th gen. The Apple TV is using Express VPN. I got a 300/60 mbit line.

I installed GSE on it, but it keeps buffering on most channels. I tried turning on caching in the settings, but doesn't seem to make a difference.

Any suggestions? Or anyone know of other software where caching works?

Hey guys. I'm new into this whole IPTV thing but I want to get rid of cable.

For my IPTV it is very important for me to have the ability of recording shows. From what I can find out it seems like you can set up a recurring recording (weekly, which days, times and all that) but it doesn't seem like you can add shows to record like you do on cable. Is this correct?

Also what android box does people recommend? I've been looking at the formuler z8. I only need a box for IPTV and recording tbh and that one seems pretty good when it comes to both things. Or is there anything else I should look for? Netflix, youtube and all that stuff I already got installed on my android tv

I downloaded Kodi as well as other apk addons for IPTV And movie streaming services. Since then every night around the same tune my internet will disconnect for a few seconds then reconnect. Could this possibly be correlated to me using and downloading these services? Maybe malware? Thoughts?

I wonder why the iptv service cannot carry double Audio service to their streaming Italian or German tv service run nice movies i wish they got original sound track as in Satallite receivers

Hello and sorry if this post doesnt concern the subredit.i watch iptv via android tv box and I use stb emu pro.Suddenly stb won't load.When it starts say loading portal,with the circle,and after 2 seconds screen goes black and stays black.Ive loaded my portal and Mac address to a another player (kshaw) and it works fine,so I guess there's something wrong with the stb.Uninstall it and installing it again didnt work.Or clearing cashe and data. Any thoughts?
