I'm new to IPTV and have found a provider I'm interested in, The service offers 2 connections does this mean 2 devices only in the same household/ IP address or can I connect to 2 seperate IP addresses /home work simultaneously?

Bell Fibe internet I believe are throttling my speed with IPTV. The IPTV was working fine until today (past week or so and a month before that with a different ISP) when all of a sudden, rock bottom speeds started coming. I use a tv with Smart IPTV for my service and haven't used a VPN (on my tv) up to this point (I don't know how on a LG tv).

After hours of trying to get the thing working again I tried it on my pc first without VPN enabled then with it. The difference was crazy. With a VPN it was almost as fast as before with only minor buffering <1 sec every minute or so. When I didn't have it on i was getting 2-5 secs of watching then 15 secs of buffering.

Is there any easy way to get a vpn on your LG tv, Any resources as to how would be appreciated. Or any ways to get around Bell's Throttling. (I'm in Canada and use Nord VPN normally)

does anyone know any tricks to ensure EPG is running and working through iptvsmarters app ? I have tried everything and my provider states that EPG is working correctly. So am I thinking its the App itself maybe ? any thoughts ?

What is With that I heard people say it was shut down but I have been using it fine up until today.

For some strange reason, I can't use IPTV services such as Perfect Player or XCIPTV, if my Sony Android TV is connected via Ethernet. All other apps like Netflix and Youtube works perfectly well. I can still use Perfect Player and XCIPTV, if the TV is connected via WiFi...just not if connected via Ethernet.

The UI of Smart Iptv is trash and should be way better because of the amount of people using it. Hasn't anyone made a better app for TV? If so why is it not widespread?

Anyone recommend a cheap router, wireless repeater (that will be connected via ethernet for full speed) that has 5ghz and VPN support? I've searched high and low and can't find one for a decent price that will give me full speed support (gigabit LAN)

Just a general question regarding VPN set ups.

In your collective experience, am I best setting up the VPN to connect:

• locally to where I live;
• to where the server of the respective stream is coming from (if known); or
• to where the TV stream originates (e.g. US TV VPN to US, UK TV VPN to UK)?

All this time I have been connecting locally but it suddenly occurred to me that I might be setting it up wrong.

Thanks for your advice (and yes, I know that some say you don't need a VPN if you don't have to, but I prefer 100% anonimity).

Any suggestions? Multi-screen would also be great!

I have a IPTV box. The issue i have is that the box lags when streaming,its annoying. My provider is getting a new 4k box with a faster processor. The new box does load faster then the old box.

Can this new faster processor box fix the issue with the lag?

I’ve got an Amazon Fire Stick And an Xiaomi Mi Box s, when i open a new app on the Mi Box S and switch back to the old one it keeps the position it was on, say im 30 minutes into a program on IPTV, open netflix then decide to switch back to IPTV its still on 30 minutes. However when i do that on the firestick it will close the position of where i was on Iptv and start from the very beginning of the app, is there anyway of changing this?

Hi, is there anyway to have a VPN kill switch for the fire stick? I'm using IPVanish and its great, but sometimes I noticed that its not connected. I'll go into the app periodically and sometimes no server will be connected. I might be streaming sometimes with it off without even knowing.

I have the setting selected to auto reconnect, but I guess it doesn't work in that instance. I also have the startup IPVanish setting checked and the connect to fastest server option under that. I rebooted the fire stick like the tutorial said, but when it booted back up and I went inside IPVanish I was not connected to a server.

I know there is an app called safetydot which I tried, but I don't like that its constantly blinking green all the time. I wish I could edit that app to only show a the red circle if it disconnects. I only want an overlay when its disconnected. If its connected then it shouldn't show anything in my opinion.

So I've been running my firestick 4K without VPN for a few days to try it. I have 100MB/s+ wifi and around 90MB/s+ wired. In both situations, even without VPN, I get buffering. Sometimes it will work 20 minutes without buffering, sometimes it will be seconds before it starts. Am I doomed to be someone who never gets to use IPTV!!? Starting to feel like it!

If I was to buy a Formuler Z8, is that really going to solve my problems? I've googled extensively and many people seem to be able to use the Firestick 4K without issues. Why am I getting buffering with a decent internet speed!? **

OK, so here is my problem. I've posted before about my issues with VPN/wifi. Now, I have moved into my own place with my own internet. I'm using a firestick and have the ethernet adapter so it is wired. I'm getting 300MB/s wired and 50MB/s with VPN.

Without VPN, IPTV (several options) works almost flawlessly. With VPN (even 50MB/s) I cannot watch many live TV channels, particularly sports.

I have Express VPN which so far has been the fastest VPN in terms of speed.

I really don't want to use IPTV without a VPN, but I don't see any other option. I'm curious if anyone has similar issues with Express VPN, or if perhaps people have similar stats and more success with another VPN?

All of the 'you don't need a VPN' chat doesn't work for me. It may not be an issue now, but there's no telling when tracking/enforcement will become a real issue and I want to protect myself to the level of a VPN.

I'm working on building my own 24/7 streaming server for myself and a few of my friends. I can stream all the channels I have setup in any IPTV app but I'm having trouble getting the EPG guides to be accurate. I'm hoping someone can take a look at my xml and see if I'm doing this right. I didn't find a really complete spec for go by so I've cobbled it together from looking at output from other services.

Here is what I've tried:

MyIPTV -- accurately shows the right show at the right time

IPTVSmarters -- doesn't show the channel guide at all.

TiviMate -- shows the channel guide but is showing episodes 13+ hours ahead. I've tried using the offset in the options but didn't line things up enough. Tivimate only has up to a 12 hour offset.

What might be off in my xml that is throwing these apps off? One difference might be is my server is in Europe and I'm on the east coast of the US. What should I be using at my time/date? I did it at my own time with utc offset of +0200.
