For anyone using xTeve with Plex DVR, what are you all doing for you ppv and fight channels. They will no show up for me even though Plex originally finds them in setup. I assume it’s because there is nothing to map to? Any help would be good

Currently with Helix and while the service is going OK, its certainly patchy at times. My internet is pretty fast (350-400d 350u) and was wondering if anyone had a service with servers based down here to improve the performace?

As those with this box know, the remote is less than desired. I need something that can at least control my tv’s volume. Does anyone have a good alternative? One that has all the Formuler’s functions that can learn my other remote’s buttons other than power and source?

Any suggestions/help is greatly appreciated.

I just got a firestick to free up my laptop trying to stream my IPTV providers m3u. All good got it to load but keeps buffering, will this issue be rectified if I plug it in to a wall socket? It's currently running off USB as it shipped with a foreign power adapter, just don't want to waste the money unless I'm sure it will work. Thanks.

I have a LG TV and I am using SmartSTB on it to watch using an IPTV provider connection that's activated with a MAC address. But sometimes I am on a PC and want to re-use the same connection(I won't be watching them simultaneously, so one connection should be okay).

I want a player on PC (preferably that doesn't use an Android emulator like BlueStacks) which supports MAC id, and allows me to pick the same id as my MAC id on the LG TV's SmartSTB, so I can use the same provider without paying again. Is it possible to reuse MAC id? Both are on the same internet connection.

So I am looking for a way to make IPTV a little easier and less bloated for my wife. I currently have 3 providers. The providers have VOD + Catchup + EPG, but also have tons of stations I don't ever use (foreign, etc). I am looking for a way to merge all of these into a single set of stations with only the ones I want in the lists.

I have seen XTream Editor and xTeVe, but was curious if there were other options.

My goal is to have a single app with all of the stations we like from the 3 different providers... maybe different categories for each provider or channels with a label for each provider if there is overlap. E.g....

"USA News - Provider 1" ... or "CNN - Provider 1".. etc.

So i messaged a provider who chargers £25 montly or £55 yearly. I am going to trial soon but i asked what is the best vpn you recommend and he says no need for that we have one in the cloudflare. What are your opinions about this ?

I’m about to be done with testing my provider for just one month, I have 2 streams for $29.99/month. Overall it’s good, little to no lag and just a few “no video” channels. Should I look elsewhere?

I’ve got nord vpn and just wondering which type I should be using to bybass epl block should it reappear next season. Looks like there’s a choice of normal, p2p, obfuscated, dedicated ip, double vpn or onion over vpn. Which would be most suited and cause less speed loss. Thanks

Hi, can i ask if it is possible somehow to add an EPG to an iptv provider? The provider we would like to buy from offers an Enigma 2 auto script which you add via telnet but there is no EPG with the channels. Is there an easy solution? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi. Never heard of MAG boxes until I started researching IPTV. Presumably all such boxes can play videos stored on an attached HDD? If so, is it possible to 'file search' without having to 'scrape' i.e. can I do a simple search of the filenames of the videos stored on the HDD?

Also, I take it the playback picture quality is on a par with the like of Shield/Minix etc?

My parents live in an area where the fastest possible speed is 5Mbps. Slow, I know.. (I myself have 300)

They want to cut the cord (satellite), but they want to be able to watch sports - NHL and CFL (Canada).

Would any IPTV service work with 5Mbps? or is that too slow?

Edit: Netflix streaming is just fine.

I just got a Firestick 4K and installed Stb Emu and my IPTV service is Diablo. I've set up the STB Emu to be Mag 254..

I can watch normal and HD live channels and prerecorded 4K movies (from videoclub) just fine.

But when I go in the 4k live television channels section I can watch a channel for 3 seconds and then it freeze completely and I need to restart the Firestick.. What could be the issue? I tried multiple Stb Emu version.. I tried all different video players (mvp, exo, jsk, external.. etc) I reset to factory the Firestick 4k.. I'm losing patience.. is there any solution for this?

Should I install something else instead of Stb Emu?

Hi I am new to IPTV and looking to cancel my cable. I think I get the gist of IPTV. Get an Android Box and then IPTV service.

I am doing this for my parents, they like the oldschool cable tv and the PVR feature, however channels are very limited. They also like subtitles because English is not their first language.

Can anyone suggest any way this would be possible? And to keep our experience as simple as possible, my parents are not savvy with tech. Please let me know if you have any suggestions for a rookie like me regarding Android Boxes as well.

EDIT: I meant to say my parents like watching English content (mostly British shows). They find it hard to understand with the accent, hence they watch English subs.
