I installed an SSD on my T2 when I first purchased it and all the live TV features worked perfectly. Up until the recent update, I cannot rewind or pause anymore. I factory restored both the drive and the box, updated both, all to no avail. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a fix? r/Dreamlink r/IPTV

I subscribe to Helix IPTV and have the android app installed on my Galaxy S8 and Nvidia Shield. I also have Perfect Player set up on the Shield.

When running Helix via the app and WiFi on my phone, it's perfect. Instant streaming, doesn't cut out etc. However, when I use the app on the Shield, sometimes it can take a couple of seconds for the stream to load and can buffer/cut out every few minutes. It's a lot less of a consistent service. This is the same if I use Perfect player on the Shield too.

Is there a reason for this? I brought the shield in order to get a perfect experience much like I get if I use the Helix app on my phone.

I got a trial week with NordVPN on the shield but that didn't make any difference.

So you have two playlists. You add them in Xtream Editor. You then create a merged list from these two. You then add that merged list as a third m3u to be able to edit groups. When this all is done:

• How do you manage EPG, which link do you put or do you have to use the built in database at that point?
• What happens when you want to merge groups? For example, merging sports channels. Do you create a new group where you move the sports channels from each one or do you use one’s existing sports group as main? Will that account for the providers channels additions or removals?
• For the live events (NBA, NFL etc.) channels, how do you deal with EPG (same as first question I guess) and how do the listings and links get updated (since these respective groups have been merged in one new)

So as a impulse purchase I bought a used android box off of Kijiji. My end goal being to set it up for my mother to use Netflix and Youtube (which she currently uses off her Samsung Bluray player currently which is kinda horribly slow) and also to subscribe her to a decent Canadian IPTV provider (with EPG). Welllll and that is where the problems began. I had no frigging idea that it seems that Netflix is crippled if you have a non- Widevine L1 supported device (which it isn't) so Netflix seems shittier than on the Samsung (720p? 480p?). Also the built in Youtube app on the device seems to do 1080p but the needs the remote which wasn't included only a shitty gamepad style controller so I grabbed the official Youtube app off of Playstore and it seems to only do 720p!!! christ!!!. I think I may get a Roku or Firestick with the same goals.. this thing just seems like shit. Might be fine if your only intent is using it with Kodi. Is there something I'm missing here or am I just better off with a Roku or Firestick (with the end goal being the same), which might be better (only need 1080p)

I live in a rural area, without access to cable/fibre internet service. As such, I'm on a high-speed DSL connection with "up to 5 Mbps" download speed (the real case scenario is anywhere from 2 to 3.5 Mbps).

I'm wondering if anyone with a similar connection speed is using an IPTV service without major buffering issues?

I'm considering Beast or Vader.

For reference: I can watch YouTube and Netflix without much (or any) buffering most of the time. Kodi, on the other hand, buffers quite a bit from virtually any source I select. As such, I'm concerned that IPTV streams might face that same fate.

My understanding is that Netlifx and YouTube dynamically adjust the resolution during playback, which probably helps avoid buffering, unlike Kodi — where the stream you select has a defined video quality. I'm not sure if IPTV streams would do this, too.

I have an Nvidia Shield TV and am running perfect player, like it for it's simplicity but am not locked to staying with it.

Only issue is not being able to look ahead on a channel to what is coming up later in the day.

Left and right keys in the TV Guide section simply change categories rather than moving ahead an hour or so.

Same thing in Tivimate, left takes me to the categories and right takes me to the option to set my favourites. There is a custom section for chaning what button presses do but they are only for when viewing a channel.

I can see the later shows on the schedule in Perfect Player when I use the PPCast phone app so know my supplier is providing them.

Anyone know a way around it on these apps or another I can try that has this functionality?

I have been looking into this for a little bit now and think I know which one I want to try based off different things I read. I was going to do a free trial or two to finalize my decision. I have been doing DirectvNOW since they started, and although it's ok, I can't get local channels where I live (even with an OTA antenna) and would like those as well as some other channels of course. Yes I know it's not perfect etc. but I do want to try one of these other services. My question though after this long winded paragragh….. how safe is it to subscribe, even for a free trial they are asking for names etc. and I know you have to pay (with a credit card in most cases)? Is there any worry about giving your real name etc.? Sorry, I know it's probably a dumb question but wanted to ask before I dive in.... Thank you.

simple iptv pvr + playlistloader gives me ,couldn't load channel error, playlists are working i can load them with no problems without playlist loader plugin , but i want to have few playlists of iptv and i want to switch them without retyping urls. somebody has any ideas?

1. how do i view my usb on android box. I have a apk file from a iptv seller to try. Does the usb pen drive have to be formatted to fat32 or something? before it can be viewed in file manager?

Hey all,

I need a box for my parents that I can load STBEmu onto and have it boot at start for simplicity. Needs a good remote, and the above mentioned specs so it doesn't lag.

In Canada, the Mi Box 3 is $120 plus tax, which I bought for myself and works great, but it is overkill for my parents. They'll never use it for anything other than streaming IPTV.

My logic for not wanting to use a MAG box -- I'm not comfortable giving money to a company who doesn't want their box used in the way I'm going to use it. I'm worried they will be successful in their attempts to block pirate IPTV and then it will be useless. I'm aware workarounds have been posted, I'm just not sure how long they will last.

Right now I am using STBEmu Pro on a Mi Box to watch IPTVExpress. I am wondering, is there a better app than STBEmu? Most other apps I have looked at need m3u lists which Express does not support.
