Looking to get IPTV but need some questions answered.

I am new to the community and am interested in getting IPTV along with purchasing the Dreamlink T1 Plus. But first, I have some questions:

  1. For safety purposes, I will be using a VPN. However, how do we actually set the VPN up? Do we sign up for any VPN available I can find on Google (any recommendations for Canada?) or does the pre-installed one inside the Dreamlink T1 Plus be sufficient (I believe it is called "Cloud VPN")? I don't mind paying a few bucks per month as I've heard free ones may have issues.

  2. Does the VPN always automatically be activated everytime I turn the unit on and off? Or do I have to turn it on each and everytime I use the device? What happens if the pre-installed VPN app inside of the Dreamlink T1 crashes? Will the Dreamlink automatically use my regular wifi connection, leaving my actual IP address exposed to the provider's server?

  3. There are so many providers to choose from. For Canadian users, what provider do you recommend? Reliability, speed, no buffer, and visual clarity are the most important. I am keen on HD channels especially sports. I would prefer if it came with a trial but paying with bitcoins only is a must.

Thanks in advance.

Newer to iptv . Suggest something

If nothing I'm looking for exists in one package suggest something you'd personally recommend.

My wishlist for a provider:

  1. Consistent USA ppv events. Particularly boxing and not just the really big ppvs. I'm looking for a service that routinely streams them all.

  2. Usable on either Kodi/Android TV box etc not looking for mag only options.

  3. Daily subscription is a plus (not against monthly but if a provider had a day by day flexibility option that's a plus for me)

  4. Accepts Bitcoin

  5. USA/uk channels are important but I'm not opposed to getting a larger provider with more international channels

  6. Comcast sports net channels

  7. Box nation UK

Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you!

ISP issues with buffering

So I am trying out kodi and vader iptv services... was getting very very heavy buffering (unwatchable)... I have a amazon fire tv.. so I tried it on the kodi on my windows pc.. same thing.. my friends Vader (different isp) works great

So I try to hotspot my phone connection and it works 100% non buffering.

So in short.. I've narrowed down the problem to my isp. I get 25mbps so I know speeds not the issue.: they must be blocking or throttling something ?

anyone have a suggestion how to fix this? Something on the router perhaps ? Or is this something at the isp level that I am out of luck

Please Help - IPTV on Sony Bravia

Hi all,

I'm new to the world of IPTV and would like to get set up. I have a Sony Bravia TV (model number KDL32W705B). Looking at the app list on here i can't find the "smart IPTV" application. I assume my model is old and that's why it doesn't have the android app store. My question is, is there a way to download the APK for smart iptv on my laptop and install it on my TV or is there any other way I can download the app onto my smart tv?

Thanks in advance

Dreamlink T1 Kodi 17 Workaround

As we all know, the Dreamlink runs an older version of android that is not compatible with the newest version of Kodi. Kodi 16 is quickly becoming obsolete, so this is a problem for many.

I was just made aware of a workaround.

FTMC is available in the marketplace. Its a fork for Kodi 16 and SPMC. It basically gives Kodi 16 the ability to use https: like Kodi 17.

If you already have Kodi 16 installed, you will have to uninstall it and install FTMC as a fresh install for the changes to take affect.

Does anyone else hate the interface on mag devices?

I really don't understand why infomir designed such an ugly GUI, it looks like very little effort went into the design.
Why don't they just open up the mag box to allow customised skins? If you take the time to look at the skin design on openvix for custom sat recievers; it looks really modern and polished; whereas the mag looks like it's still in the mid 2000's! Anybody else frustrated by the design?

Voodoo IPTV and Multi TV Setup

Hey there. I use Voodoo right now and it's been the best one so far for Roku and pricing. What I was hoping is that there is a reseller that allows multi-TV access (one active stream at a time of course) so I can move from room to room. Right now I'm locked down to a single MAC addy so kinda crappy on that front.

Also reason why I chose Voodoo is some specific channels it had that others didn't offer.

Thanks in advance.

FabIPTV is delivering what customers want: We now have Catchup/Timeshift and a huge VOD library in KODI.

Last weekend was an exciting weekend for us. We opened up free trials for a huge TV weekend. Many first time IPTV customers (500+) enjoyed a fun filled weekend of watching UFC, Boxing, Premiere League and F1 GP with us. From what I am hearing from the customers and what I saw, the streams were amazing. It was definitely fun!

Well, FabIPTV never sits idle. We are constantly searching for ways to improve the customer experience.

As a result, we have added 2500+ episodes of TV and Movies in VOD. Did I tell you we only started VOD last week?

We also have continued to add in more live channels. See the list below.

Alright alright.. You seen this before. .. tell me something new. Well, we done it. Actually our developer has done it. We have enabled catchup/timeshift in Kodi. Yup, Kodi has time shift /catch up. If you are a big Kodi fan, this is a huge deal for you. (it is a huge deal for us as well)

I know it is Thursday and you may have to work tomorrow but take us for a spin with a free trial. Just open a ticket and we can set you up with an instant trial.

https://fabiptv.com/submitticket.php?step=2&deptid=1

Yup.. all this for £4.50 GBP/ £7.50 GBP a month (discounts with longer subscriptions). Remember if you buy now this price is for you to keep forever as long as you remain a customer.

Don't need a trial then place your order here https://fabiptv.com/cart.php

Looking for an IPTV service with two specific sports and standard american entertainment channels.

Hey complete noob to IPTV here, I typically run Kodi on a Mibox and I am considering subscribing to a IPTV service. My family and I don't really watch sports except for my dad, who only watches Italian Series A and Formula 1.

Is there any service that has sport channels that contain those, and all of the main american entertainment (HBO, AMC, and their ilk) and/or Canadian channels? Anyone can point me in the right direction?
