Hi, as per title, I'm looking for box/device recommendations for an IPTV sub. I'm not wanting to spend loads on a Shield or anything that price.

It's purely for IPTV.

I also want something that can use a wired connection as I don't like relying on WiFi.

What's good these days? Some sort of Mag box? Figured they might be better option than an android type device but have never tried one so not sure.

I made a post a few hours ago, but deleted it by mistake.

To resume : siptv on Samsung seems broken for many users. The application runs correctly but playlist uploaded (by file or by url) doesn’t load in the application.

As previously explained, I tried everything I know, and nothing worked.

The problem is that I tried many apps but none is more user friendly and performant on Samsung than SIPTV. So I contacted the dev to ask if the problem was on siptv end or if it comes from a specific blocking from Samsung (app not available anymore in the Samsung App Store, and usb install of the app gives the error).

If anyone find a solution, please post here.

Super weird situation.

So my wife and I got an IPTV box (MAG324) a few weeks ago. We have 1GB download speed on our Wi-Fi. Whether the box was hard-wired or on Wi-Fi, the signal was buttery smooth. No lag whatsoever.

That all changed about a week ago. Almost every channel starts chugging. (Before you ask if it's the stream provider having issues, the person we bought the box from sold identical boxes to two other friends of ours. Their boxes work perfectly as we speak).

So then my wife and I started thinking ... what could've possibly changed in the past week that our IPTV box starts suddenly chugging? The ONLY thing I could think of is that I introduced a laptop from my work into our home network. It connects to a VPN server in Toronto. (I'm in Windsor.)

Last night, in an effort to try and fix our IPTV box, I performed a factory reset of our modem. Changed passwords, all that stuff. I did not reconnect the VPN laptop at this point.

When we tested the IPTV box last night followng the factory reset on our modem. the IPTV performed much better. A few hiccups here and there, but it was pretty smooth for the most part.

This morning, I reconnected the VPN laptop to our home network. I go back to our IPTV box. Sure enough, it's lagging again.

My question is: How is this possible? How is it that introducing a VPN laptop can somehow cause my IPTV box to lag? I've even connected my VPN laptop to a guest network on my Wi-Fi and my IPTV box is HARD-WIRED. Still, my IPTV is lagging.

Hi everyone, I have a premium m3u link that i would like to try on Kodi however after numerous failed attempts to load the m3u(also have the xtream api credentials as well) through simple iptv client. I tried disabling/enabling and installing/reinstalling etc. I’m curious to other alternatives or recommendations with kodi that others have had success with. Appreciate any and all the help.

Hey! I've got a Formuler Z8, and I can set up recordings on a USB-stick. But all the recordings are a .TS format. Is it possible to set it up to record it in .MP4 or a other more regular video format? Now I need to reset every recording I do.

Hey folks, I currently have a Hitron CGN3 from a local cable reseller on their 75/10 service and I'm consistently experiencing lag using iptv (Dreamlink T2 5G using Dream Online II). Would changing modems help this at all? My provider also has the Hitron CDA3-35, Technicolor TC4400 and the SmartRG SR808ac
