I’ve only recently started using IPTV on a firestick 4K. I pay for a subscription and use a login on a streaming player called IPTV Smarters. This app is great for live TV but the catch up feature is unusable, there is no way to fast forward or rewind so I’m stuck watching things as if they were live, when really what I want to do is skip to certain bits.

Is there something on the app that I should change, or is there a better player out there which has a usable catch up feature.

My stream format is set to MPEGGS(.ts)

OK, I have an xmltv file from my provider. I have no complaints at all with my provider, so please don't send me 50 PM's telling me how great your service is.

My issue is there are a TON of channels that I do not (nor will I ever) have any interest in watching... using simpleiptv on Kodi as my guide.. it can be a little onerous using the guide with all these useless channels... and setting favorites is kinda clunky. Obviously I want the sources to be the ones currently used by my service, I just want to edit out all these useless channels. All the links, threads, etc. I find end up with broken links, etc.. and I end up hitting a dead end.

Any assistance would be appreciated it.

I currently have a Firestick 4K and the memory is full. I use it to watch IPTV as well as play retro games with Retroarch. Would the Nvidia Shield TV be worth getting or is there a better device out there I should look at. I know I read the Shield runs Android TV OS does that make it harder to install an IPTV? Any thoughts and advice is greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know if it's possible to sync or copy a friend's shared libraries to other user profiles on a single Plex account? I need this to be able to create a user profile for my family so they have access to the same content as I do on my admin orofile but can have their own playlists and recently watched programs. I've tried all I could, including purchasing a Plex Pass and making sure I've allowed access to all libraries but nothing is allowing my provider's shared libraries to appear on other user profiles. They only show on my admin profile...

It's time for me to move on from the MAG 254. I'm still unable to come to a conclusion because I'd likesome more advice from this subreddit. I'm using my box strictly for IPTV and nothing else fancy.

1. Xaomi Mi Box S - Price tag is extremely eye-catching to me because I definitely do not mind spending $50!
2. Fire TV Stick 4K - I have the regular one 2nd Gen, but I find it's UI to be extremely clunky and slow in general. Not sure how much of a difference it would make to just upgrade to a 4K and use it for IPTV. I would love to hear from 4K owners out there!

I see an overwhelming positive response in terms of the NVIDIA Shield TV. As much as I'd like to get one, I don't feel like paying $150-$200 out of my pocket for something that will be used solely for IPTV (and Tivimate). I've tried the Z7 and Z8 because I have family that owns those but the the costs of either doesn't justify the use of the box imo. buzztv XR/XRS models seem to be quite expensive too - back in the day the XPL 3000 used to be talked about a lot, but nowadays I don't see much talk of buzztv products.

Starting a reseller biz for iptv, what's something I can do differently for my customers that they would appreciate? I try to be as helpful as I can and always there when they message. I sell a stalker middleware service. Most servers are all the same, I feel the server I sell is pretty high quality though and has a ton of channels.

I'm new to IPTV and excited about getting started. Reading through the posts, it seems the consensus box or device to use is the Nvidia. Is there a "best" one to try and get? And also does anyone have suggestions of vendors, otherwise I will just look for it at Amazon or cheapest place. Thanks!

I see IPTV boxes out there with decent specs for under $20.00 but who's to say what the user interface and ongoing support is like, so it seems the trick is to find a solid piece of software for around $10.00 to $15.00.

I know it's difficult to know what quality (if any) you'd be getting in a sub $20.00 box but with a bit of due diligence I believe I can find a good build.

The thing is, is there third party software out there that's close to or maybe even superior to MYTVOnline 2?

I did a Google search and found an Nvidia shield for $129 from a supplier called Kmart supply. It's not the bankrupt Kmart store, as far as I know.

With the incoming launch of dazn for 200 new countries, do you guys think IPTV will retract? Obviously there are non-sports users but I'd guess they're the minority it'd certainly have to shrink the market substantially wouldn't it? Here in Spain most of my friends don't bother with IPTV anymore!

Apologize as im sure this is a repeat but ive got a x96s box which does a decent job but what is the latest top rated by users box for iptv?

My service providers EPG does not seem to have an EPG for the Indian and international channels. I was just wondering what other options are there such as a paid EPG and what do people recommend and how much do they cost.

I am currently on the smart IPTV app on the smart tv however from tomorrow will be changing to the 4K firestick and using TiviMate premium. Cheers
