I've got an Android tv box that I use for my streaming needs, I was wondering if there was a better way to switch between the different programs I use. Right now I fumble the home button for a while until it finally takes me to the home screen, and it takes me a while to go between the only 3 apps I use, is there a better option?

So I’ve had smoothstreams for awhile and it’s always worked great on Kodi with xfinity. Recently I was at my parents house who have ATT fiber and it seems like the majority for the feeds go from slow motion and then speed up and back to slow motion. Certain channels seem to be working fine but I’m having this issue with the majority of them. Running it on a new firetv stick 4K. Has anyone had any experience with this and is their any fix? Thanks in advance.

Smoothstreams aside, who usually knocks it out of the park? This is usually the big test for providers and the majority fail badly. So who does well?

I'm looking at getting IPTV for my elderly parents and I hear the Mag is the way to go but which version will be future proof? My parents are going to be pissed if in a year the box they get is not supported.

Edit* Thank you all for the responses. The reason why I was looking into a mag was because its simple to use. My parents are immigrants and they barely understand how to work their CRT TV let alone a complicated android box.

Edit #2. I've narrowed it down to the Mag 256 and the Mag 322. Does anyone really know what the difference is? I've googled it but haven't been able to find a straight answer.

I've been testing xtream editor to combine playlists. Since the trial is limited I'm not able to see the full functionality.

If i purchase the full standard version, will i be able to have a merged playlist with all of my channels in my own user generated groups? For example, if i create a group called "Kids" would i be able to group kids channels from 3 different lists into that group? And would i need to create a group with that name for each of my original playlists for my merged playlist to have them all grouped together?

I've read the guides but it's a little confusing so far. Thanks for any help.

Don’t know if this is the correct place for the question but does anybody know how to view an M3U from my iptv provider on a PC not using VLC player?

I am trying to watch matches on my work computer but am not able to download VLC player or any software not endorsed by the company.

Using ProgTV for awhile and its been great now all of a sudden this weekend it seems every 30 mins of so the app will just quit and kick me back home anyone else have this issue before and were you able to fix it or is this something on the providers end?

I'm a bit confused as to where the EPG data comes from? And why do I have EPG for certain channels on certain apps but the same channel will have nothing on another?

My background: Helix service using on Samsung TV (smart IPTV and Smart STB) and Android Fire Stick (Helix app and Perfect Player). I also use xtream editor and I see I can assign EPG ID's there as well. When I setup the various apps, only Perfect player wanted a EPG specific URL, which I got from xtream editor. The others either were preconfigured (Helix app) or only wanted m3u url.

As a test I went in xtream editor and assigned EPG ID to channels that had no data (australia group) and in Perfect Player most of those channels had EPG data, so they must get some EPG data from xtream editor right? But plenty of other channels in other groups had data also. Yet it was missing massive amounts of EPG that the other players had, such as UK channels etc.

What about the apps that only are setup with m3u URL? Do they get the EPG data from Helix also? None of the EPG ID's I assigned in xtream editor showed data in Smart IPTV, even though I used the xtream editor m3u URL?

Wondering how it does handling the usual IPTV apps, ie Smarters, etc?

I'm using the previous Fire Stick and am curious if it's worthwhile to upgrade? Its on just a 1080p TV so I'm not interested in the 4k or HDR features from Amazon Prime or Netflix.

Something I still don't quite fully understand. Relatively new to IPTV so I apologize if this is a stupid question but I feel like I'm missing something here...

For folks using an android device (eg. a cheap chinese box/Mibox/FireTV Stick), why wouldn't you just use a MAC based app like STBEmu to view your programming as opposed to using other apks programs?? I understand some providers have their own apk and there are other apks (eg. IPTV Smarters?) available on the playstore. Don't these two options provide the same result? Is it a quality of stream difference? Is it a UI preference that folks choose one over the other? I've only used STBEmu so I'm not sure what I'm missing out on?

It's kinda like some providers have MAC based subs vs. username/password subs -- is there one advantage of choosing one method over the other?

I hope this makes sense....Any insights much appreciated, I'm just a bit confused with these options. TIA.

For past week the box we have upstairs won't play any movies. It says connection problem however it will play shows with no problem at all.

Any fixes for this?

I’ve tried resetting via the button but no joy it powers on loads up the informir screen say it’s finding network etc and then the screen goes black

Hi guys.

Let's say two or more people are using the same supplier/provider and are using the same VPN Server, surely this would cut the connection for everyone as the provider would think you are sharing lines ?
