Can the ISP potentially throttle the connection or terminate the contract ? I'm in the UK, and my ISP blocked the football when it started months ago, VPN works, however according to my providers I don't need a VPN as they use one on their side

Was wondering if someone only this sub could help out. So I have a dreamlink t2 that I have a wired connection to using a dlink av2 gigabit kit. I recently got gigabit internet through Rogers, and when I tested my speed on my dreamlink box, it was capped around 36 mbps. Anyone know what could be the issue here?

We would be grateful if someone could offer any help regarding an issue we have using the Xtream Editor plugin.

We have used it for a while without any issues - channels all work great but for the past 2 days we cannot import the epg.

Uusally when you select 'import bouquets' you get 'Done!' come up and when you select 'import epg' you can see it importing..but now nothing happens at all so we have had no epg.

The error from the log reads as follows:

(XTREAM) download failed: (Failure instance: Traceback (failure with no frames): <class 'twisted internet error. TimeoutError'> User timeout caused connection failure.

Before uninstalling the plugin and then asking for another script from our provider to re-install again and use a new code we wanted to ask in case anybody nows what we could do to resolve this.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, So I'm new to all this but have problems streaming most content using a pro subscription via my firestick. Any advice on how to improve things? Internet speed around 40mps and have no issues with other steaming services. Is a VPN worth a look? Thanks

Edit : playing about with the settings within the app has helped. Thanks to the poster below for the tip! No more juddering and audio syncing.

Signed up for a month a couple of days ago & constantly getting logged out / not letting me back in (wrong username/password apparently), eventually get back in and some of the categories I deselected are enabled again , streams are constantly buffering every 10 seconds on a 200Mbps <10 ping connection.

Is it always so unreliable or just bad luck? Anyone else having issues the past couple of days?

Hi all, at what point in the chain does the epl block kick in?

E.g. two providers get SS channels from Globe one needs vpn one doesnt, why? Is the block on the providers server? Would changing servers help them escape the block? Or am I mistaken and both streams are not sourced from globe?

Am I correct in that a service requiring a VPN is more likely to go down a similar route like Ace? Unless they can get round the blocks? A bit like vaders from what i hear....or has no bearing?

Just ordered a Zgemma h.2h box and I'm looking for the best UK provider to go with it. I would like all UK channels, sports, movies, US channels, (instant if possible) catchup service and ability to record. If anyone can help out that would be great.
