Hi there, I am quite new to this so please bare with me. I use sip.tv and my IPTV provider has provided a M3u link which works perfectly and a EPG link. However when I use the app the tv listings are all wrong because of the wrong time. (I think the time is US however I am in UK) Is there some how I can edit this or change this? The siptv. Interface doesn’t really allow it as far as I know.

I’ve used smarters and GSE in the past, but I think GSE doesn’t support catch-up anymore. Smarters does, but you can’t fast forward if you’re watching catch-up which really defeats the purpose if you hate commercials like myself.

What would be a good software solution (windows) for deploying my own server that provides my own locally hosted TV show library, and have it act like a 24/7 channels? I would like to be able to access it through Tivimate, so m3u or xc support would be needed. I like the idea of just tuning to a channel in Tivimate and have it playing in the middle of a random episode (but still plays them in order).

I am also thinking of getting a TV tuner for my computer to also serve local HD channels to rooms that don't have good antenna reception (through Tivimate as well), but that probably won't be until later. But I would assume whatever software is out there would be able to handle both cases.

i installed the app and put in my iptv m3u list...it works but when i try installing epg guide it says INSTALL EPG FIRST FROM DASHBOARD...then added a few players to it and told it to use that player but it does not use it...it goes to default player...am i doing something wrong?...i added acestream player and vlc player

I'm looking for a new EPG provider and, after combing through the existing posts and comments on the matter...I still haven't quite found what I'm looking for.

I have a rather insane setup that "crunches" the raw M3U info from multiple providers (based upon reliability, channel offerings, etc) into something that looks very much like a normal channel interface (read: it passes the wife test).

Anyways, I currently have a subscription to XMLTV.co but their service seems to be hanging on by a thread. I can't actually log into my account since it thinks I don't exist (can't reset password, etc). So essentially, I'm looking for a replacement provider where I can programatically download the EPG file and match it up with the tvg-ids that I have internally.

I've looked at epg-best and m3u4u and they both require you to upload your playlist in order to get the EPG processed which I really don't want to do. I dynamically generate M3Us (based upon a variety of factors) and I host my own, customized EPG xml (I ingest the "main" XML file every 12 hours and process it...throwing away what I don't need.

Again, XMLTV.co has been amazing but I get a sneaking suspicion that they might not be around and I want to be prepared. Also, I'm really only interested in US/UK channels, regional sports, and local channels. Nothing too exotic.

I use Nord VPN and want to connect it to my router, or a device between my Nvidia Shield and Router.

The difficulty I am having is I never seem to remember to start my VPN before using my apps on my shield. Also, my performance on my shield seems to decrease when I am also running a vpn on it.

The router I have is for Fios Quantal Gateway.

My nvidia shield is ran though a ethernet cable and not wifi. Is it possible to use the vpn for just that ethernet cable?

I have red that I may have to get another router. If I go that route, what router will allow me to configure nordvpn on it and still connect to my Fios Quantal Gateway? Will I have to connect a router to a router? I was wondering about connecting another router to that allows nordvpn to run from it and attaching my Shield ethernet cord to it.

Weird thing. My new iptv is not working when i use a regular openvpn connection. I get a error 401.

The only way to make it work is by using wireguard. Why would that be? I prefer wireguard but atm my router (RT-AC87U on merlin fw) only supports openvpn. I prefer handling the vpn connection from the router than directly on the andoird tv box.

My vpn service provides a wireguard android client but it is very poor on android tv and i have to use a usb mouse to enable it. Hence my reason to prefer using the router for vpn.

any recommendation/ideas?

I just ordered a wifi adaptor for my iptv and apparently needs a driver therefore does not work as the box doesn't register it as a suitable device.

Can I get some suggestions (preferably on amazon) on those that work and that aren't extortionately expensive.

Hello, I have been having issues with my IPTV being blocked by my ISP. I see there are VPN routers available on Amazon for £20-30 but I was wondering if anyone can recommend any in that price range.

I understand networking gear can be expensive and all, and I want to make sure whatever I get will actually work.

My router doesn't support VPN's as it is the provided one from my ISP and a network wide VPN isn't an option for me (personally too as I just dont need it) as I use a different VPN for work and I heard double VPN's can cause issues before.

Also if anyone can or is allowed to recommend a cheap VPN that would be appreciated though I understand that may be against the rules. I currently have a free trial with an established one and see 15 months in around £60 which is fine, but if there is something cheaper that will do the same job then that would be ideal.

Does anyone know anything about Home Theater IPTV? I have it and it's working at this time but the web page and payment portal are down. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I know more than likely they are being shut down, I am just looking for some real info!
