I am looking for a STBEmu alternative or substitute. I understand that STBEmu is old but still being updated. I still like using it because I like the guide system and how to choose channels with the previews, guide.

What I don't like about is I can't find a way to filter out other languages to what I want.

I have tried OTT Navigator which was ok. It can filter out languages, but I get stuff omitted like 24/7 channels.

The service I am using is a MAC address service.

Can anyone suggest another app that uses MAC service.

i have been using my amzon fire TV 4k box since it came out in 2015 and i am now looking for an upgrade. the two i have seen a lot about are the Buzz XRS4500 and Formuler Z8 , my question is which is better from what i read the XRS4500 is newer and from looking has slightly better spec 4gb ram, more storage and a newer android version. what do you guys think ? or do you have an alternatives ?

I am using Wireshark by connecting my Android TV device to WiFi network shared from my laptop so I can sniff Android TV traffic but it's kinda complicated method and takes a lot of time, or maybe there is easier way to do it in Wireshark? I am opening Conversations and then I am checking highest packet result per channel and then closing all results, starting sniffing again, opening channel then finding streaming link of that channel, then all over again for new channel, really complicated.

And the worst thing is when play tokens changes, I need faster method to pull out like 100+ channels very fast.

Btw, I watch those channels in TiviMate, like it more than this IPTV app from which I sniff channel urls.

I have a five year old Sharp Roku TV which i don’t love because it’s very unresponsive and slow at this point.

(I currently watch IPTV by either screen mirroring from laptop or casting from my iPhone’s Web Video Caster app. Both suck.)

What do folks recommend for watching IPTV? I was considering using my existing RokuTV as a dumb terminal and plugging in an Nvidia Shield or Firestick into the HDMI port.

Or would I be better off buying a new Sony Android TV and using Tivimate?

So here’s the deal. I pay for a service (not sure if I can share name). It’s $10 per mo, I use Fire stick, IPVanish, have a 250mbps plan through Xfinity, and use Google WiFi as my mesh router.

However, I get buffering. A large amount during sports. When I use the same provider on my iPhone, using IPVanish on the data plan, no buffering whatsoever. Any advice? Port settings on IPVanish, etc?

My isp when only device connected is my fire stick and is achieving speeds at well over 75mbps. So it seems plenty fast

I’m looking to buy a new Dreamlink box to upgrade my old one and already have an existing account with a link. Question is, do I need to tell my service provider about the new box or I can just input that link into the new box? Assuming that everything will work.

The IPTV mislead can continue yet again like with FXX Canada showing MSNBC or the US version of the same network or E! Canada showing CMT or the US version of the same network. This time one Much sources show Canada Star channel or GameTV Canada would show Game Show Network in the United States.

I am testing a new service and I keep getting error 401. I am able to get epg so my username and password should be fine.

How can I troubleshoot this issue? Where I got service hasn't been very helpful. Says my credentials are working on his side... Could my isp be blocking me? Testing on tivimate.

Just installed Nanomid and Duplex players on a Samsung Qled and added playlists. Worked fine for days. No getting error now nothing loading.

So I am currently using IPTV and came across CCcam. I have a Bell Sattelite up on the roof and a couple of Sattelite TV receivers. The problem is I don't know if my receivers will work with CCcam. The receivers are Motorola DCX3400. How would I get CCcam setup ?

EDIT: Oops. Just realized these receivers aren't sattelite.

I just got a provider however I'm using the stb emulator app that uses an M3U URL and they provide service based on my mac address. I reallly like the tivi mate player however it doesn't work with my provider. Is my only option to swap to a different provider to use Tivimate or is there another app I can use that has a similar UI to tivimate that works with M3U Urls?

Is this an ISP Issue? I bought a Deco m5 mesh system and it has helped immensely. The overwhelming majority of channels I've watched are great however there's a handful of channels that are unwatchable. Other times, I'll notice it buffer a handful of times during a game or something.

I just watch iptv on my phone and TV at the same time. My phone data didn't buffer but the WIFI Did. I have 100 MBPS internet and it's not overloaded at all. I have my Smart TV plugged in to the Deco m5. I'm unable to connect straight to my router but I'm still getting around 65 mbps with this setup.

Hi apologies for the probably stupid question. I am trying to set up IPTV on my Samsung TV. I went for a trial on some site that offers IPTV. They have said to install duplex IPTV and share my device ID and key...

Is that safe to do?? Seems a bit of an odd process to me.

I’ve been reading a lot about iptv players and tivimate seems to be really popular, I have been using iptv smarters for a long time and am used to it. Do the different apps do anything different in terms of quality (image, buffering..) or is it basically just a lay out preference ?

I'm using StbEMU Pro on a Mag 425A running Android TV. It works great and it's pretty fast. The only problem is, every hour or so, it starts stuttering and I get a notification saying "Storage space running out". If I go take a look at the storage, there's still plenty of storage left.

A couple minutes after the notification, Android TV just crashes and reboot. After the reboot, I'm good for another hour and then it starts lagging again. Something must be cleaned during the reboot and then start refilling when I launch stbEMU. But..? Some kind of cache or something? I'm not using any recording or time shift feature.

I've tried disabling accelerated rendering and network cache but it's still happening. Did someone ever see something like this?

Hello All

I have set up a playlist that is saved to a m3u file that I access from emby on several tv's. My tuner is a HD Homerun with 2 built in tuners.

When I try to connect 3 tv's it won't play. Obviously there is a turner limitation.

My question is this: When you create a m3u file and play from that how come it still has the turner limitation?

How do you get multiple clients on a IPTV Playlist without the tuner limitation?
