Hi New version is now available (2.0.5) with new feature: play on background ! Now you can open a live channel (or movie/tv show) close the app then open an other app and iProTv will continue playing audio on background.

PS: available in iPhone, iPad and Apple tv, and you have to activate it from app settings.

PS: Apple just accepted the app, it may take several minutes to be available in your country AppStore :)

I've been using the Gotit player for years without problems, but about a week ago the service stopped working. Contacted the provider and they confirmed that the subscription is still active. Indeed, it does work on my laptop!

- I've tried the Gotit app (reinstalled) and IPTV Smarters app with the same result (service expired/could not connect to server)
- Sub works fine on IPTV Smarters desktop app in the same network
- Other friend's sub does NOT work on my Firestick, but works on his.

Conclusion: Subscription is fine, but something is up with the Firestick.

My next step would be to reinstall the Firestick, but I have a lot of apps and settings there that I don't want to lose so I'm hoping for some help here first :)

Seems to me like there might be some firewall issues perhaps, although I haven't changed any settings?

I'm pretty much a noob so be gentle.
i'm wondering if its possible to tweak VLC to play streams at a lower quality.

for instance, i'm able to get a m3u playlist of 1080P streams but my internet (and data plan limits) cannot stream 1080P streams. The source is also not adaptive so limiting my internet speed/bandwidth at my end only results in extreme buffering

i'm wondering if there's a way to reduce that quality via VLC to say 480P at my end so that my data consumption reduces and my speeds and data plan can cope.

I have tried my service's EPG and also made my own using M3u4u website. Using the services, the guide will run out of data after a few days and not list alot of channels content. But when it does work, i get a good chuck of channels but not all.

Using M3u4u, i end up missing all of Canada and a good deal of the UK channels. USA seems ok.

Is there any other way to fix this? Is there a way to look up TVID for M3u4u?

Hello I would like to ask you, what applications do you use on your IPADS or IPHONES, to watch iptv.

For years I have used dozens of them, I have paid in many cases, their pro versions, but I have never found that application that covers at least 90% of my needs.

That’s why I ask you, to suggest the applications you use, to see if there are any that I haven’t tried and maybe I like it.

I've been using VLC and MPC-BE on Windows 10 for playing IPTV m3u playlists. VLC also initially skipped files until I set the loop icon = no looping. However, I can't find a way to make MPC-BE stop skipping to the next m3u item after each entry plays for a few seconds. The playback is set to play only once. The only option I saw was:

• Play -> After Playback -> Do Nothing

...but that made no difference. Any help resolving this issue will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I've had this problem where the volume goes to Max when stb first loads. if you press the left arrow, it'll quickly go down, and you do that one time.

There's a fix for this, it'll cost some money, but give better outcome. Buy a soundbar. Or any sound system.

Once your sound is coming out of the sound system not TV speakers, your volume is always adjusted to your previous preference.

Whats the consensus on IPTV and VPN? Is it a must to have both together? Is it a major risk not having vpn. Im planning on using a tv app however that tvs app market doesnt have a vpn app and no way from sideloading one. Any guidance or suggestions are appreciated. However to be clear I cant upgrade TV or get one of those fancy boxes. Money is tight right now.

I have an IPTV service that worked flawlessly for a long time but for the last month or so most IPTV clients can't even open the streams, not even the latest VLC or Kodi in Windows. The only place I can play it is with PerfectIPTV for Android and with Kodi in a RaspberryPi running a fairly old build.

I've contacted the provider and he says no one has complained so he doesn't know what I'm talking about.

Is there any way I can detect the encoding/codecs of the stream? I've tried MediaInfo and GSpot but both work with local files only.

I see there is a ton of different IPTV providers being shut down all of the sudden. I assume the same has happened to HeroTV. Can anyone confirm?

If so what do you think the next set for IPTV providers? I assume they will just restart under a different name and keep going forever basically but do you think some will give up and start a new business?

Hi guys. I have an IPTV provided that i love, and it works great. But, their EPG is not so good. It is often wrong and many channels are missing from EPG.
I have tried to find some EPG online, but its hard to find that too. Are EPGs illegal!?

Does anyone know of a good EPG with Brazil channels?

I'm curious, about how, the main source manages to have access to all the channels, I thought it connected to the channels that broadcast online, (but I immediately realized that that was impossible), I have also thought that maybe they take the signal via satellite, but they should have an infinity of satellite dishes to catch all the channels.

I have also thought that perhaps they have servers in each country, from there they would take the signal and send it to the main source, but I also see that with a very huge logistics plan.

Can you guys explain me how they do it, I dont need really technical names, just to get the idea (more than the normal people have) of how IPTV works.

Every live stream I've used on my Android TV Box is experiencing buffering at some point. Can anyone offer any help or advice to a noob or somewhere to get better more reliable playlists (I'm only interested in live sport)?

I have an Android 9.0 TV Box 4GB RAM / 64GB ROM. It is using a wired ethernet connection. I get 105mbps+ download speed on my devices (I am from UK and with VirginMedia). I have ExpressVPN installed on my Android box; And when connected to VPN, I switch country, which I auto connect to when Android Box turns on, and I get 45/50mbps+ download speed and ping of <25ms. If I switch to UK servers, then I still get similar speeds, maybe a bit faster, but <15/20ms ping. Upload is 9mbps if that matters but I am not uploading anything.

Also I am the only one connecting to the router. It'll just be the android box (wired), the tv (wired), and my mobile (wifi) connected to the router and the TV and Phone won't be doing anything strenuous (TV's being used by Android Box!)

The IPTV's I am using are two free ones (I can name them if it's OK to do so - I'm not selling anything, both are free). The one IPTV uses a different player on device - either uses Perfect Player or the built in video player, both buffer. The 2nd IPTV has it's own player; again buffers.

This was also my last experience with another IPTV as well a while ago; that time around I paid for a 24/48 hour pass and it just buffered constantly - so I'm wary of anyone selling me anything - not that anyone can do anyway as per the rules

Hi guys, Iv got Apple TV 4K box. Iv noticed the picture quality between Apple TV and smart iptv app on smart tv is big difference.

On my Apple TV box, when watching anything that goes dark it’s goes blurry. But on the smart iptv app it’s perfect.

Was wondering if anyone has a fix or any advice I can do to get the picture better. I have a Samsung smart tv, 4K and HDR ready tv.

Edit: Iv check same film on my phone and quality is the same as smart tv app. Have also checked and made sure have 4K hdmi in aswell.

Quick question regarding the recording size of IPTV.

I've recently got an android box and will be setting up recording for it - mainly for sports events I miss while out.

Going to hook up a 320gb hard drive - fairly certain that's going to be fine for my needs.

But I'm still curious as to how much space a football/soccer match or lets say an F1 race would take up - I don't imagine much but if anyone knows that would be great.

1. Are there differences in quality when choosing Android TV, Amazon Fire, Windows PC or Smart TV to use *** IPTV?
2. I would watch on TV most of the time, but also want to have the option to watch on PC. Do they send a m3u anyway so I could use both devices? Many services don't really mention it.
3. For now I don't want to go with a MAG box. What's the closest connection alternatives of the ones mentioned?
