I'm looking at buying a TV tuner that would allow me to use my Nvidia shield and cable company card along with IPTV. The HDHomeRun prime 3 tuner unit allows you to use a cable card with your TV provider. But I'm not sure if it would work with IPTV as well. I've read different things opinions on the net and would welcome any feedback!

I'm looking for the best IPTV player that looks nice, is generally simple and I'd love if it allowed me to customize what channels are shown.

As per title, how would the setup look like? why don't other iptv providers use sling tv as source of channels?

Hey guys, I’m new to IPTV and after initially setting up Perfect Player, I thought I could get past using xtream editor because it seemed like a headache in the making. After a few hours using PP, I now see the need for Xtream as navigation is a bit difficult.

Problem: When I tried to setup my lists in Xtream, many of the EPG IDs from Helix didn’t seem to transfer over. Not sure how I go about putting the correct info in this area to ensure that the guide shows in PP. Can someone direct my to a guide (not the Xtream guide please)?

Also, I’ve heard ProgTV is really good but I couldn’t get it to open the URL from Helix so gave up. — Open to switching from PP if it means a friendly interface to navigate through channels and group.

I'm a noobie been reading up for a few weeks now; testing services over thelast few days and I'd love to be able record shows a week out in advance. I know there are wares that'll record but im wondering what's compatible for IPTV providers? Do I need a plex service, build htpc rig, is recast doable? What's economical to setup and what looks pleasing to the eye in a media center?What do you guys use or recommend as simple ways to record DIY DVR

I've been recording a channel using VLC but occasionally it cuts out for a short period of time and VLC just jumps to the next channels and gives error messages and doesn't wait for the signal to return. (Even if it waits to reconnect the VLC recording stops)

What's the best way to continually record even after the channel cuts out? I like the quality of the VLC recordings and would rather use something like that which is built into the software instead of screen recording it

Noob to the IPTV world and have a question about the best M3U client available to me. I already have Kodi installed on the device.

Should I use the baked-in PVR IPTV Simple Client to access my M3U list or is there a better client, either within Kodi or as a download direct onto the Fire device?

I've seen Perfect Player mentioned in other posts but was curious if there are others I should investigate?

Any better I don’t want android box

Just purchased a new Fire Stick and can't seem to get Perfect Players EPG to populate. It worked on my old Fire Stick, and i am going through the same process setting it up as I did before. Is there another app that is as simple to use as perfect player? My wife just likes to go to the guide, select the channel, thats it. Would also like one where I can program my favorite channels. Thanks

Blocks don't seem to be causing too much of a disruption these days and all i see is that IPTV is getting more and more popular by the day.

Surely they won't just sit back and allow this to go on so my question is what are the current technological alternatives out there they can use to fight this Pandemic and are they quietly working on something that one day we will all be blacked out

Hey guys. I brought two iptv subscriptions one for me and one for a family member from the same person. I've had mine for about 3 weeks and every thing is fine.

My family member has had his for a week and his smart iptv app is asking for a 5 euro payment to keep using the app.

I asked the guy I brought my subscription from and he's advised me it is to do with the app and not him so fair enough.

What I don't understand is why I never had this issue but my family member has? Is there a way around this? Is the smart iptv app site genuine for me to pay on? Any help would be great.

Just purchased my 4k fire tv stick @ bestbuy and seeking help on how to fully load it with Jodi terranium mobdro showbox as well as in search of am add-on for tv or iptv service/add-on that has Mexican channels as well as U.S channels loaded with sports channels all ESPN and fox ppv events (ufc boxing) if you have a youtube tutorial recommendation I'll take it

Helping a friend out who isnt the most tech person. Needs a good wireless with like an actual remove that looks like a normal one. If anyone could help that would be great. Was looking at MAG but needs to be wireless with ethernet.

I already have tried various apps on Android but was wondering if there was a working Kodi addon. Preferably something that gives a cable tv like experience. I'm thinking in librelec as this is memory friendly

So I've just signed up to an IPTV provider and when using Live Channels on Android TV the epg doesn't show anything setting up with TVirl. Have double checked EPG url multiple times and also uninstalled/reinstalled.

Perfect Player however shows the epg with no issues.

Am I missing something with Google live channels?

Edit. Am using Australian Vodafone TV running 7.1.1

I am a newbie to IPTV. I have a firestick 4k with stbemu and TVZon sub. My biggest pain point is EPG. Question I have is the EPG closely related to the programming (TVZon) or can I have improved EPG with a different box like Mag?

Also anyone have any guidance on how to record a program easily? So far I have not been able to find a way to record a program.
