Any Kodi addon equipped IPTV apps?

After flawless and fab who both had great Kodi addons I’m just wondering if there’s any service out there with a dedicated Kodi addon, I’ve tried pvr simple client and loading the m3u but when half of these providers have so many foreign sections which are irrelevant to my viewing experience it makes it a pain to find what I’m looking for seeing how pvr simple client doesn’t allow you to disable some sections

Legality of IPTV / Safest way of watching IPTV

Alright, so I stepped my foot into a 2-day trial pass for vaderstreams - and I'm beginning to ask myself why I only just heard of IPTV, it's completely crushing all TV providers & services that are offered in my country of residence (Switzerland).

Now to my question - how do I stream these contents in the safest way possible? Is a VPN setup enough or would you recommend other/additional means of prevention to watch IPTV?

Also, does a good VPN connection noticeably effect the viewing experience in any way?

RAD - Perfect Player & GSE IPTV App

Has anyone that uses RAD been able to get it working on the GSE app for iOS? I’ve used the m3u link that’s given in the activation email but when I load it up on the remote playlist on the app it says there is no data, am I being stupid and missing something obvious?

Also using RAD in perfect player doesn’t seem to allow group folders, again is this just me or does everyone have this issue? The APK is quite impressive, but I struggle to find certain things and I’m use to using Perfect Player so if I can get it working on there I would be much happier!

Hellraiser IPTV also known as UKSAT

Just a very quick post on these guys above. Do yourself a favour and do not waste your money.

If a bunch of monkeys were to get together and form a IPTV service, it wouldn't look too dissimilar to UKSAT.

They have a forum and every time there is an issue they blame everyone else except themselves. And when I say issue Im talking for upto 24 hours downtime every week.

Seems like a nice cheap deal but if you look around they are only £10 cheaper than some really good providers. 90% of the channels don't even work and the main ones are down every weekend.

Basically you looking for entertainment you would be more satisfied burning the £40 you would give to these guys, in my opinion.

super-soft opening of Thumper, a new web-based player

Tonight I'm opening, in very limited capacity (50 slots), a web-player that's been in the works for the past several months called Thumper. You can sign up at www.thumpertv.com.

The goal of Thumper is to make setting up IPTV as painless as possible while keeping the usual look that you're accustomed to on a traditional STB. There are no hardware specific requirements. The only requirement is a web browser and keyboard.

Thumper currently only supports HLS streams, but if you supply it with a MPEG-TS source it will change the extension and attempt to load a HLS version. Usually sources follow the same URL scheme so you might get lucky and have it work for you.

In the future I plan on making tutorials on how to use the auto-login functionality in combination with auto-launching a browser in kiosk mode to the login link. This will allow you to run an IPTV box with nothing more than a regular operating system. I've extensively tested this with chrome and kubuntu and it works great.

Please send any suggestions for features or bugs/issues to our subreddit at r/thumpertv.

Keep in mind that we are only a media player, we are NOT a streaming service.

Question Mag IPTV vs formuler z7+

I understand this type of boxes are meant for IPTV Providers with Portals and give a better experience than using m3u playlists with other software on Android Boxes.

Are Mag Portals compatible with the formuler z7+?

hls-proxy with single connection IPTV service

Will using hls-proxy with an IPTV service that only allows 1 connection per account cause the account to be blocked?

hls-proxy helps with buffering as you end up controlling some of the settings like how many .ts video files you can download simultaneously. My concern is that the account will be flagged. I'm not familiar with how m3u playlists work.

Do programs that process m3u playlist just download the chunks sequentially?

I got booted from the official Nitro IPTV Facebook group

One of the admins named Alex asked in the group if people could tell him which channels have incorrect EPG information. I replied to him "why don't you check it yourself. Why should we do your job for you?" Anyway, he immediately booted me from the group.

I think it's funny. I had already decided not to renew Nitro anyway. I only have a one month sub. It costs more than some other IPTV services and it's really expensive if you need more than one connection yet after having tried it for a while I found it's no more reliable than other less expensive services. And last Sunday's NFL games were buffering like crazy on Nitro yet they were solid on Area 51.

Using an IPTV service without a VPN?

I see people talking about a VPN being mandatory but then I see post saying "it's up to personal preference" or "you only need it if you're downloading torrents or streaming the premier league".

I live in the UK and I'm using an IPTV service on an android box to watch entertainment, kids, US tv, and sports channels (I don't watch too many sporting events). I usually watch the premier league matches at someones house so I can avoid watching them all together, I do want to watch the champions league though.

Would I be at risk if I try to do this without a VPN?

Best way to watch sports?

So, here’s the thing. I am a big soccer fan but lately several privatized sports broadcasters in my country pretty much have bought all the rights and licenses to be the sole sources of broadcasting the UEFA Champions League — as opposed to earlier years where the important/most hyped matches were also broadcasted by public TV.

The consequence of this shit fest is that you’d need about 3 different monthly subscriptions to watch all the games.

I am not giving away ~15% of my monthly student job income to these assholes.

Hence, I came to this subreddit. I wanted to ask if there are any recommendations for transforming my raspberry pi into a sports streaming device. I know about Kodi and xbmc and IPTV, but what is essentially the best way to watch sports? (I don't even mind paying for up to 20 bucks a month)
